Just me cruising around on the klx talking about what it’s been like living with it for the past 4 months and 1500+ miles. Let me know if there’s something specific you’d like to see or know about. Thanks!

Fun video. I am looking at getting a KLX300 in the next couple months for this coming season. I've been debating a few models and I think it has the most of what I want. I used to deliver to a plant in New Castle, nice town. That is a cool play area with the washed out sand bumps.

Tires have been fine for me on dirt and muddy roads. That aside, im loving it so far. Bought for the gas savings and short commutes , locally and just get out of the house for a few. @DrewCreate5 ай бұрын

@DrewCreate3 ай бұрын
Damn, well glad you’re mostly alright! Could always be worse than a sprained ankle. And honestly I have been riding motorcycles since I was like 15 so I’m pretty comfortable on a bike. It’s just the going fast off road I’m not comfortable with yet and I think that just takes time and experience
@slyjb873310 ай бұрын
How do you feel about this bike on the highways / interstates ? I know its not made for it but lets say you only need to be on it for 30-60 mins to commute doing like 65-75 how comfy is it in your opinion?
@DrewCreate10 ай бұрын
So I talked about it a little in the video. Basically for me at 5’11” 170 pounds it will do 65 pretty happily just under or around 7k rpm. You could easily do 65 consistently. Once you hit 70 it’s a little more “buzzy” but at the same time I regularly ride it at those speeds on my commute. I drive 30 minutes to work one way on this bike everyday and average probably 60mph and for some straighter flatter sections will do 70+
@slyjb873310 ай бұрын
@@DrewCreate Guess it just went over my head in the video a bit but regardless thanks for expanding on that more. It seems perfect for me to be honest, I don't see myself needing to ever go more then 65-70 on my local highways so its good to know you can do that comfortably on shorter commutes. I'm 5'9 183lbs so I imagine our experience would be similar.
