Hopefully this video helps explain wheel spacing, center of gravity, and what makes a good wheel spacer. Watch along as Jake explains this, and shows you how to install our wheel spacers the correct way.
THANKS FOR WATCHING!!

I recently purchased some Pro armor knight wheels for my sand tires 15x10 4+6 for the rear. The fronts are 15x8 4.34+3.66. Kind of an odd offset backspace setup but I'm glad I got the width for the sand tires

So the 1.5" wheel spacers I bought from you June of 2022 are made just like the ones you say are no good! Well that sucks! Glad I haven't installed them yet. Would not be happy if they broke a chunk out while driving because there is no material on one side of the bolt hole!!

Those are definitely a Chinese version. No denying it. However I could say that we’ve never had an issue with them as far as breaking.

Funny that you mentioned that I went with QuadBoss spacers. According to the picture, they were the ones without the open hole with the extra meat on it, but the ones I got in the Box had the open hole. Yeah I was a little disappointed that they weren't exactly as shown in the picture. I wonder if that's a company he didn't want to mention

On 15x10 rim with 5+5 spacing, would you still use a 10 wide tire? Or would that let you go up to, as an example, a 35x12.5?

We are running a 10 inch wide tire. You’re more likely to scratch the bead lock rings but the stability is there. Same theory still goes for the Utv. Lighter is better. 12 inch wide tires are made for trucks and are just too heavy.

Could I run a 1” spacer with also running a 4+3 offset wheel? I’ve heard of people doing it but not sure.

You can but I would not suggest it. You will get feedback into the steering wheel and bump steer. Plus the pwr steering motor will be working overtime and get hot.

What do you think about the electronic suspension on the krx?

It’s good and bad imo. I like the quick knob adjustment and my 4 seat has no sway bars. Instant sway bars if wanted

There is no correlation between a truck and a utv when it comes to wheels, offset or spacers. They are totally different machines for totally different uses. Wheel spacers on the front of a utv will destroy the steering characteristics of the machine. And damage parts prematurely.

You are incorrect. Whether it be a motorcycle, Utv, or a truck. Roll center has everything to do with any of the above. And you were also unfortunately incorrect about the wheel spacers. Doesn’t make a difference if you had a wheel spacer, or a 4/3 backspace Wheel. You have moved the weight of the tire and rim outside. That does affect life of items some, but in my opinion it’s a small price to pay for stability in any terrain. This is not a Polaris, so the wheel bearings and other items hold up just fine.

@@fullaccessutv roll center on a motorcycle? I'll let that go. Stability in a utv is not at issue that is affected by increasing the tire diameter by 3 or 4 inches. Lifting a truck 8 or 10 inches is a problem because a truck drives at significantly higher speeds and is significantly heavier than a sxs. The dynamics of the suspension system and steering system on a truck are vastly different than a utv. To even suppose that they are the same is rediculous. The factory has professional design engineers working for them who know what they are doing. Putting anything other than a 6+1 wheel on the front of a utv significantly affects steering response, control and safety. If someone needs wider track in the front, wheel offset change or spacers are not the correct way to do it. The correct way is wider control arms. Steering geometry must be maintained for safety and performance. Just because you say that "in your experience" something is so, doesn't actually make it so. Stability in any terrain is a short sighted statement to make considering the changes made. Wider offset than 6+1 negatively affects road obstacle feedback to the driver. It is like trying to open a door with a stick. It significantly increases the effort required. So what terrain do you think this is actually beneficial? Rock crawling? You just increased the angle load on the steering system by a ton. Mudding? Is that even a consideration? High speed driving? You again increased the amount of effort required to steer and maintain control of the vehicle. Proper front wheel offset is very important. Rear not so much.
