I bought an 100%electric nissan leaf, best car I've ever owned! The cool thing is everywhere you go, you can charge it! can't do that with old school fossil fuel, its good for the wallet and good for the environment! Nice conversion!

What's the run time like: 20, 30, 40 minutes? I'm planning on converting a KX100 in the near future and I'm looking for at least 30-40 minutes ride time.

How does this motor setup compare to using the c80100 motor? I have thought about doing something similar with the c80100, curious if the power would be similar or not. I know you have used that motor on previous builds.

its not a brushless motor i think and two the chain does make a fair amount of noise most are not used to hearing it without a motor. That was all electric though.

Everyone's right on this thing being kinda slow. It's a 5kw brushed job. Peaks at 15. It'll be fairly torquey, but it won't be fast with one gear. I'd say your 25-30mph is about right. But it'll have 1st gear torque all the time.

If I were you I wouldn´t have welded the engine bay but if you want more speed, change place of the wheel sprocket and engine sprocket.

Pasta Sarmonella E-Specialé changing sprockets would cause to much torque. the one on the motor should always be smaller

just cause its electric dont mean that there slow he got up the hill no problem it was electronic when he filmed it cause u cant hear the brapp sound a dirt bike engine makes u hear a slightly high pitched noise instead some electric motorcycles can reach 100+mph google it i dare u i am a witness i seen one hit 90 just my opinion doe
