Just had a look in the manual - the quickshifter needs at least 2500 rpm to work correctly

I just got mine today! I'm in love. If you put your hand in front of the chicken wire up front, and goose it just a bit while it's parked, you can feel the vacuum sucking your hand. I cannot believe I got exactly what I wanted this time.

If I may rave for a minute: I feel like rarely does a huge company listen to it's customers' craziest wishlist and then just do what the people want. Like, sure they make whatever sells, but this time, they really did everything some of us asked. I'm sure a bunch of people at Kawi board meetings looked at all kinds of charts, and segmentation, and margins, and said, "no". Because they're right, it makes no sense, and there's no way even at ten g's they're making much on them. But I'll be damned. I got one because it spoke to me. Its weird, and its a dumb idea, but I love it more than any bike I've ever had. The absolute sweet spot for me. Progressive has this and the Ninja 400 listed as the same bike. I betcha that'll change. Get that year's coverage sewed up before they realize what they've done and give you 4/5ths of zx6r rates.

You must be following the riders manual on how to break in the bike. To each there own. Me personally..... just dont sit at the same speed on break in. Its impossible to follow their guidelines with the rpms because of its smaller displacement. Btw i have a new 2023 ninja 400rr. Watching the slow speed and early shifts makes me wish you let her breath alittle bit. I feel ypu should ride the break in the way your gonna ride.... jist dont sit at one speed nonstop..... i feel that hurts break in. Happy to see ypu love your bike. I owned a ninja 300 and a zx6r before..... had a harley too. Went back to sports and picked the 400rr. Love it!!!!

agreed. i think the best way to break in a bike is how you would ride it typically.

Bro did you mention back pain, from the more aggressive riding position? I've narrowed my first sportbike choice to either this bike or the ninja 400 I'm hoping the riding position on the ZX-4RR is not too extreme. I love how excited you are my friend just imagine when you finally Rev it out to 16000 RPM, you're going to be in ecstasy. In order to seat the Rings properly you need to rev it out a little more. Enjoy.

Seating is slightly more aggressive but still in the range of a comfortable daily in my opinion.

When on a sportsbike make sure to grip the tank with your legs and force yourself to only have a light grip on the clip ons, that way you use your torso muscles to keep you upright and you'll last longer.

I rode some of my favorite curves today on my 2 day old ZX4RR. It was so much more fun then my 2021 MT07 that I traded in, on the same curves. I have so many other roads to introduce my new baby pocket rocket to. I just wish it had cruise control. Maybe that will be a feature in the future.

The trick to new tires is run low pressure for awhile, example: factory tire specs 42psi. Run 32psi. jump down about 8-10psi when new for grip. really your tires shouldnt be above 35psi anyway when hitting high speed corners, thats how you low slide

once you pass breakin period are you planning on unlocking the ecu so it’s equal to the ones sold in indonesia, europe, etc? from the 53 to the full 70.

For the quick shifter to feel a little more smooth, pick your speed up a little, it feel so much smoother. Ride your own ride buddy. If your not comfortable going fast don’t do it yet til your comfortable.

It's maxed out and since this bike is a little more aggressive seating might need to get a new mount for sure! And thank you man!!!
