zx9r rider do yourself a favor and learn how to blip yr throttle on down changes to smooth out slowing down!

Yeah but they are riding around Germany, his last bike was most probably a BMW with tractor gearbox so the clunking and clanking sounds normal... LOL.

@@gormanspacemarine You misunderstood what he said. The rider, no offence to him either, is clunky and awkward in his gear changes. I know the ZX9R's do have a notchy gearbox, especially 1st and 2nd, but what he was referring to is that one must try and rev match between gears so the change is less abrupt, hence less clunky.

@@tonymontana897 lol mate I have the same model old ninja, and a BMW K1200R, believe me, the BMW has a truck gearbox in comparison. Basically I was just taken the piss a bit. Ride upright.

I had one of these in 1999 It was a GREAT Bike. A bit on the heavy side. And not Quite an all out sports bike for its engine size.. (BUT it went like HELL) AND it was So Comfy to ride Id Always keep up with bikes like the R1.. GSXR750s and the Fireblades... BUT !! To be honest it was bloody hard work. An all round FANTASTIC Bike..

Great vid. Interesting. Hey owner of the old zx9r ninja, your exhaust burbles and pops are priceless music to my ears. I think you could get your carbies balanced for a smoother idle and less clutch basket rattle, but otherwise leave it alone. MORE!!!

I have a ZX9R E2. Gearbox can be an issue.

it happened to me once while i was running it aggressively. first in my mind was the chain went out.
