In the '80s I saw a KZ-1300 six in the service bay of a SoCal dealership. Beyond its sheer size the most remarkable thing about it was how the lower half of its taillight had been scuffed away, as if by road contact during vertical wheelies. The mechanic said it belonged to Doug Domokos, aka "The Wheelie King", and that he used it for shows. OK, now I understand!

To make Arto Nyqvists record even more impressive, he did the quarter mile best of 13.01....sitting backwards!

I remember watching this guy perform at the horse race track in the early 80s. He could skid around on his clogs all day on the dirt track.

In the early 80's I worked at a Honda/Kawasaki dealership. My daily rider was a 1976 KZ900 I bought new. I thought it was big and fast until I rode the KZ1300. It made my KZ900 feel small and slow.

In Iran 80s, bikers used to do wheelie by Suzuki GS1000E with a passenger behind him, not difficult

Crazy guy. Amazing stunts. His clog-stunt is one of the best. Watch the speed, crazy. I have seen him 20 years ago in Paderborn. Since this time my talisman at the bike key ring is a little part of his killed tail light :-) Until now, it works-no tail light probs:-)
