I would as a bottle of Anbesol for a local anesthetic and a tiny suture kit. Once on a several day excursion my uncle cut open his arm pulling in a large catfish. Good sized gash. Once disinfected, my mother sewed him up and then covered it with triple antibiotic cream and a sterile dressing before taping it all up. When he showed up to the doctors office a few days later to have it fixed up professionally and get antibiotics, he was told that it was done well enough and no infection present so he was good to go as is. I would also add some ImodiumAD and a small pkg of baby wipes. We also always had a tampon in the kit for large puncture wounds until we could get to an ambulance but never used it so l can’t say if it is worth carrying. I also didn’t hear gloves in that list. I would also swap out that bottle of gross water for a life straw or similar device.

Those are great ideas and a cool story of using your resources! I have a package of baby wipes in my kayak crate all the time. I have them in case I have to “go” but never thought about how they could help with this kit. Great idea. A tampon is used by protection guys for gunshot wounds so that’s a great idea also. Something I should have mentioned that I have in my hunting kit, that I want to add to the kayak, is a tourniquet! Thanks for watching and the great feedback!
