Seeking to get into this sport I've been checking out the numerous videos out there featuring different setups, equipment offered and available, overall upgrades, your attention to detail, the equipment utilized, and i've come to the conclusion that this is hands down far superior to all the rest out there! Kudos to you my friend for sharing with everyone exactly what can be accomplished with knowledge, patience, and the right approach in bringing this dream Kayak to fruition! Truly Impressive!

I saw another review that showed the deck flexing when standing in front of the seat. Have you seen this and if so what are your thoughts? I was ready to pull the trigger on this kayak until I saw the review with the deck flexing as much as it was. Thanks!

I use yak grips on my Atak 14 handles. Just unscrew handles and slide on a set of yak grips, very comfortable and durable.

I do a lot of surf launches here in So Cal,and somedays its mandatory to stow the rods.I wish the rod storage wasn't way in the back.On a bumpy ocean that will be a pain in the ass to get the gear out!!!To bad it's not in the cockpit.Or maybe redesign the front hatch so you could stow rods up to 8' into the hull.The only thing hampering my decision on the atak....

Awsome yak ,ive been looking to get something like your yak,i have a 18ft cc made fisher but unfortunately it has sat for a few years. Ive been thinking about selling all of trailor outboards etc to try something like this . I honestly think i would get more use out of the yak then the boat.
