Next time you get a channel that size you should do a fish head comparison. Your favorite white bass head on left, channel head on right. The winning bait coild then be poured in resin and wow! What a collectorthat would be.

Thanks for your videos. I’ve fished from my kayak, mainly for bass for 4+ years. Going to try your methods to fish for big cats. In our area we have big channels and flatheads in local lakes. Added Scotty rod holders and depth finder to my yak. Even bought some Sumo circle hooks.

I used to fish a power plant lake and there were millions of little channels so many I would get them in the net and they were good cut bait for the blue cats there

I think its due to the fact that the baits are directly below the boat, the bait won't be fighting the 10/0 hook the whole time and stay kicking longer
