Kayak Catfish

Kayak Catfish

3 жыл бұрын

In this video, I did some anchor fishing in hopes of finding some big catfish. I did manage to catch a few catfish but the highlight of the day was a giant striped bass.Just another fun day of kayak catfishing on the Tennessee River.

Yes, I went to a lake once to fish for big Red Ear, My sister in law was riding with me. We were coming to shore by a dock that was loaded with people, when I came back up from flipping the boat, the dock was empty. There was a guy sitting in his boat with his hands over his face, when I reached down under the water and pulled my boat off the floor of the lake, he just lost it, dying laughing.

Those fishes are lucky to have you caught them. If they would have been on my pole, I will never let them go! They will go straight to my frying pan, catch fish nuggets! Yum, yum.

Fish the Delaware Bay for stripers. Biggest one I have gotten was a 48 incher. My brother goes up the DE river for spring and fall striper runs and catches even bigger cows. Great video. Love your channel and was surprised to see such a nice striper. They make some darn good eating where I am from..

That takes true character to admit when you've screwed up. I have had the pleasure of launching my boat without the drain plug installed. It didn't take long to figure that one out, but by then the boat was too heavy to put back on the trailer. To make a long story short, I ran the boat down the lake while the water drained out then put the plug in. That's my bone-head story.

Hahahaha I did that about a week ago, me and my buddy was gonna do some fishing he got in the boat and I backed it into the water then he headed to the dock while I parked the trailer when I got out of my truck I heard him yelling “ heeeellllllppppp!!!!!” Long story short it’s a good thing it was a little Jon boat we ended up having to bank it and let some of the water drain and get our drain plug in and then back on the trailer to drain it all the way needless to say we decided to not tell our wives about this one 😂

I can only speak for myself, but I like when you drop them on the board solely because it is hard to judge how big any fish is with the type of filming you do. it puts it into a perspective that I can relate to fish I've caught myself (and fish of the larger size i wish to catch one day). although...... you could never measure another again and I would still watch you religiously.

Another option for launching your kayak is making sure your trolling motor is plugged in and your fish finder is turned on also. After you get it in the water you can just move it out of the way with the trolling motor and spot lock it. Then you can park your vehicle and just turn the spot lock off and whistle for the kayak to come to you. Like to take credit, but I saw it on another video the other day. Just make sure you have your remote with you.
