Yeah we were very torn on whether to stay near Halong Bay or not, lots of people said it is just overcrowded nowadays, so ended up on Cat Ba! Did you do a cruise on the bay? Hanoi is probably one of our favourite cities ever! its absolutely fantastic. Wow what a fantastic way to return home after so much freedom :(

I think drone shots are just absolutely epic! Vietnam is pretty chill with drones, we actually booked it through our hotel, he gave us a really good price too! The tour we did was brilliant, the guide was actually a Londoner.

Wrong ! the spiders never make noise . That sound was from the cicadas . Those insects sing all summer long . Have you ever heard of the famous Fables of Lafontaine , a 17th century French philosopher/poet . One of his fables was about the story between the cicada and the ant . The cicada sings all summer long whereas the ant works and stocks up food for winter . When the cold season arrives the cicada has no thing to eat and tries to borrow some food from the ant but that one answers him " if you sang all summer long instead of stocking up food like us , so you can dance and starve now " . That was a good lesson for lazy , improvident people .

haha that spider haunted us for weeks! it was soooooo big! Sam absolutely loved seeing it though. “proper wildlife”

Haha yeah we found that out as we made our way through Vietnam, they’re soooo loud! definitely a new noise for us.
