On Torch Lake, Michigan kayaking inside Quincy Mine Dredging Rig #2. Abandoned in Torch Lake in 1967, slowly sinking into the lake. We take a tour of the dredging rig in our kayak. This lake is highly toxic, it is recommended that you not kayak in this lake, you will get wet with contaminated water. if you do decided to do this, be sure to wear old swimsuit or old clothes and throw them away afterwards. This rig was used to dredge old stamp sand out of the lake for reprocessing.
