I'm also beginner-intermediate, but I just don't get when counting stitches the stitch marker is the first stitch to count, or is it the stitch after the marker?

Im sorry! I Can help you a little here : So if you know how to do a single crochet you can just make a square, then you connect the end so it’s a pouch, then add the top (no idea how to explain the top of it

the simplest solution would be to use a bigger hook, as this would keep the pattern the same. adding more stitches would complicate the pattern and make it harder to keep track. hope this helps :)

Any yarn is good, maybe not too chunky. I reccomend cotton yarn cuz that's what i'm using

I know I'm late, but did you figure out the problem yet? If not, I suggest that the problem might be that you're only crocheting on one side when you're basically supposed to go in a full circle,(I just had that problem so I restarted the rows) or that you are either lacking one stitch or over by one stitch. Basically make sure to count them as you go.

hii i noticed this too when i was doing mine. but the "29th" stitch is actually the slip stich u did to connect the body in thr first round. just skip that stitch and slip stitch into the first stitch. i hope i make sense!

Dw you’ll get there I had trouble with this as well on many other projects,as I learnt the way to resolve stuff like this is practice trust me.also this might be happening because u are increasing?(basically 2 stitches in 1 stitch)or maybe u are doing stitches in places where ur not supposed to those could be why u are getting extra stitches.hope this helps if I doesn’t sry just more practice is key

probably because when you make the first hdc, you skipped the 2 stitches. Mine keeps getting stuck on 25, i dont know what im doing wrong😭

@@mochiyhx Hii ! i actually made it now, it's turned out so cute. My advice is you should keep on track and use the mark to see the stitches more cleary. And don't give up if you still can't do it at the first try, i have to do it again and again about 10 times :') and still don't understand where it's got wrong

The size of your crochet hook & yarn type affect the size of your projects. So using a 3.5mm hook would just make it a bit smaller- but that’s it😊
