@@andrew10583 Well I cant speak for everyone, but at least generally speaking I would say that "suits" have AT LEAST seemed to learn their lesson about *never* unceremoniously changing a vtubers voice actor. As far as I can recall, there hasnt really been a single controversy stemming from that in all of 2020

Well I was intending on keeping it vague but since you asked... 1) In October of 2019 Both Yozakura Tama and Nekonochi Mochi were both suddenly fired from Idol-bu after Tama had a stream and made a series of tweets voicing her complaints about how poorly the staff had been treating her especially considering that she was suppossed to have a one-man live coming up soon. Mochi was fired as well because she went to great lengths to defend Tama. Sure technically they both broke the rules of their contracts by making it public, but this was seriously a bad look regardless especially considering that Tama was LITERALLY their #1 up and coming talent and that she was just asking to be treated fairly. In fact, since then Tama has reincarnated into another Vtuber with a very similar design and already has more subs than her previous incarnation and by extension every single Idol-bu member if you dont count Siro (do your own research if you want to find out who she reincarnated into.) Thankfully the other Idol-bu members are finally starting to see some positive growth again, but its just a shame knowing how much bigger all of them would be if this hadnt happened. 2) In mid 2019 all of the Game-bu staff went on strike because of how overworked they all felt they were and after a short while the company released an apology and things seemed to return to normal. However, fast forward one month and no meaningful changes were actually made. Since it was clear that they wouldnt give up on getting better treatment the company decided it would be easier if they just replaced them. Without warning, 2/4 of the members (Miria/Haruto) were suddenly replaced by different voice actors. Meanwhile the other two members voices would be replaced a month or so after once their contracts expired (granted they at least let us know in advance). Their justification for this was the game-bu were actually "Ctubers" (Character Tubers) not "Vtubers" so it shouldnt matter who is voicing them. ...as you can imagine this did not go over well. They still post content iirc but their subscribers have continued to dwindle since then and they have not had a month of positive growth since. Also, while there have been multiple attempts for the original VAs to reincarnate as other Vtubers, unfortunately they have not been very successful. *I MAY have made some mistakes on some of the details but this should help you understand the general gist of things*
