Hey everyone!
I recently posted a Kazuya bread and butter video and sadly I forgot to add the Electric Wind God Fist Combos in the video, so here I have them for you all!
Tekken is one of my favourite games of all time and I absoloutely love Kazuyas inclusion to this game! The character feels so good and I'm geniuenly excited every time I record content for the character or just play with him in general! How do you guys feel about the character?

Lol. True but one thing I noticed playing online, is that Kazuya mains have to be patient in most match ups because the end lag of some of his best attacks. Muscle memory practice is the only thing that helps me with the fighter characters

I feel like this character will be godlike for the ppl that put in the time and practice with him. These combos are rly nice but it's actually just the tip of the iceberg. He has sooo many custom combos it's ridiculous. I think they did a great job with this character. Would love to see some live kazuya gameplay showcasing some of this stuff btw 💯

I’d also like to point up you can chain an almost infinite amount of combos with EWGF, for example you can do a rising nair into fair into landing nair and extend the combo further with EWGF. It actually blows my mind how busted Kazuya is.

Are you sure EWGF is true into dash back fsmash? Plus, how the heck do you do the input consistently? It only comes out when I press A right after I press forward, then down and diagonal, but if I try hitting diagonal + A nothing

Can someone please explain the step-dash part? I really don't understand how the video linked relates to what's going on here, it looks totally different from what is going on with Sheik. Do you have to do something with the tilt stick while spamming the crouch-dash or something?

Is there a trick to connecting EWGF after uptilt? 9 times out of 10 the second follow up from the uptilt comes out instead.

Isnt footstool after electric into nair not true because you can tech footstool? I realize it has invincible frames and u can tech chase but still idk someone correct me

1:25 For this combo, it will work only on characters that have decent recoveries. Characters like R.O.B, Pikachu, King K. Rool, and other fighters that have good recoveries can recover from this combo.

Yo! So just like in tekken EWGF is the best move in the game and his integral to kazuya's kit. I wonder is it also plus on shield? and how much shield damage does it do? Cause in tekken it's his main pressure tool as well cause its + on block and allows him to continue pressure. P.S. his step dash crouch dash reminds me of how his Crouch/ wave dash works in tekken as well. Where you can cancel the recovery of crouch dash into a forward input then into another crouch dash. So in high level gameplay you just see mishima palyers just doing crouch dash on everyone in oki/ pressure in extremely hihg speeds. Forcing the enemy to actually pick an option. Hint: If they get it wrong its probably 80% of their life.

@@FrenzyLight that would help a lot, i remember the inputs and i've done it a couple of times but i usally end up doing misinputs and either straight up forward smashing, down tilting or just hitting normal wind god fist. I also struggle with footstooling for some reason so i can't go for those extended footstool combos.

I also found a confirm with rage drive: back down tilt (the one that trips) > side b > wavedash b. Kills incineroar at 50 with no DI

EWGF sure is amazing move but I have a hard time pull it off. Usually I end up doing the other electric move (can't remember the name). Does anyone have anytips how to input it more properly or at least how to train to input it correctly without misinputting it

You can keep training doing the normal Wind God Fist until you can nail that, then you can take it from there. For me practice usually helps a lot :)

You’re holding A, pressing too long ➡️⬇️↘️ + A (a and ↘️ must be pressed together) My way is doing Forwards, Below, Forwards very fast But, you TAP A when you also hit below, and by the time you slide your thumb to diagonal, it will input and you’ll do EWGF. EWGF has an electric effect, normal WGF does not. The window for A is 2 frames, extremely small.

I currently hit it 80% of the time. Personally I do the motion really fast. Dunno why, but it's very consistent that way!

I really like strong dlc chars, better than some crappy ones. But ill would like to see some buffs or little chamges for lower tiers or old characters that perform weaker. New one got way more options kinda umfair for the old ones. Passives Special inputs, second forms...

Train in tekken? Lol. The frame is even more strict in tekken than in smash as sakurai said. If you can do it easily in tekken, smash will be easier. The trick is u press the attack button at the same time the down/forward is inputted. If you do it like shoryuken which requires u to input forward, it's not gonna become electric.

this worked for me but idk if this is universal: press A when u are inputting down if you're doing the full motion quickly, this way the moment u input the diagonal is when u are actually inputting the attack, as it's very likely u will miss the down by a bit (enough to have already done the diagonal one). Another way is to think about this as a smash attack but with shoryuken input, but i think smash attacks are much more generous than EWGF, so idk if this'd work for most ppl
