Honestly I’m so dam happy. Mamamoo were literally told they would be nobodies and here they are, in the top five girl groups in Kpop. I’m so happy for them and if I’m not mistaken they are fourth or third most popular girl group of this generation according to MAMA rankings (after Blackpink, Twice, and/or Red Velvet) but even then their international fanbase is huge and their korean fanbase is too as well. They’ve been on so many shows lately, even having members go on shows by themselves and they are such good sports. I’m so proud of my girls and I love them too much 🥺❤️❤️❤️

I got introduced to Mamamoo on an Asiana flight. Was my 4th flight in less than 2 weeks and watched all the movies, so I listened to some of the preset Kpop. They definitely have the most range of songs. You wouldn’t think it’s the same group. Most talented female group currently and being involved with the songwriting is always going to have more meaning for them.

Also, it's only a 4 member group but it doesn't seem that way because of their entertainment value. This is also a group that came from a company that isn't part of the big 3 and to have a percentage of their success is already a great feat in itself.
