I've been watching old videos of Taemin recently and have realized that Taemin was raised to be an idol by the best of the best. He was the maknae of SM for so long at just 14 years old that literally all senior artists paid special attention to him. DBSK (Yunho and Changmin especially), Super Junior (Heechul, Kyuhyun, and Eunhyuk especially), etc. And of course all Shinee members treated him with such care. With idols debuting younger and younger now it's tough to receive the type of education that Taemin had where everyone adored him and taught him. Taemin got all the best bits of every artist he has come across because he learned from the best. To echo all the rest, he literally is the standard. You won't find another like him.
