haaa Chanyeol was highly amused when he saw the American fans' vid. even sehun cldnt help but laugh out loud. though 'baby dont cry' is not my fav EXO song, i enjoyed their live performance! D.O's voice always has so much emotion and i feel that he's always v immersed when singing.

The meaning of Baby Don’t Cry Lyric（EXO） The inspiration of this song is 《The Little Mermaid》(1837). When the little mermaid turn 15, she falls in love with a prince. She asks Sea Witch to give her legs in exchange for her tongue. She hopes prince could marry her but fails. If she kill the prince with the knife, she will become a mermaid again. But when she stands in front of his bed, she could not bear to do that. When the sun rises, her body dissolves into foam. In the song 《Baby Don’t Cry》, the prince doesn’t sleep, he wakes up and asks her to kill himself: Don’t hesitate, please take my heart. Love is kind of light winkling. Even the moon closes its eyes. Suppose me as a stranger, or fancy yourself actor. What we say is just lines of an opera. Baby don’t cry tonight. yeah it's probably because suho and yeol are supposed to be in the background at that part, but perhaps they can't just sing softer because it may sound different? i think it's a microphone technique thing?? to regulate how they sound like? like how from 12:15 to 12.42, when D.O sings louder, he brings the mike further away from his mouth, so the overall volume (?) of his voice remains about the same, but he's still able to sing louder (maybe so that he can put more emotion in, or maybe he wants to sing louder so it's easier to hit the higher notes?) and when he sings much softer, he brings the mike closer to his lips so that whatever he's singing can be caught by the microphone, but there's still that quality of that he's singing softly...? sorry if the explanation sounds weird, i barely have any idea how to phrase whatever i'm talking about haha *embarrassed*

@@chanyeolieismyvitamin8532 lol this is so late reply but Suho does that because it's a technique when you're singing the background harmonization so his voice has to be softer and Baekhyun's melody and Chanyeol's baritone part should be loudest. It's actually very professional of him. Idols nowadays don't mind that they're not harmonizing well, they just sing however they want so that they'll shine. EXO members doing that on live will convince you that they do have solid teamwork since debut

now i understand why everyone goes gaga about EXO, great vocals, visuals, charms and everything else rolled into one, i dont know why but they somehow remind me of NSYNC, only tripled..i am definitely an EXO fan now :)
