Carver tends to stay in that safe zone. That's their strategy. 35 updates their songs year to year and tries to go beyond their zone and can hit or miss at times where it does make a noticeable impact. Again, it comes down to preference. To me here in this particular clip it's about even.

I know everybody talking Karr Karr but naw, carver is a beast..... I can think of 5 hbcu bands that carver would demolish hands down. Them dam trumpets and mellos don't make no kinda sense. 35 did really good but that dam carver just crazy smmfh.

@Realize2608 idk..... carver trumpets and mellos was going in. Karr sounds really good tho. Hell, 35 does too. They the top 3, would love to see a current 3 way battle between them.

@6sixx104 Karr is a beast too. On this video on that night carver trumpets and mellos was on 1. I'm just beyond impressed with these kids playing the way they playing.... Karr, 35, Abe, etc included.
