As a Bulls fan…. I fully agree. The Pistons taught the Bulls how to win. I remember those battles of the late 80’s. Golden age of the NBA.
@luisrodriguez-mb7cc
@luisrodriguez-mb7cc Жыл бұрын
More than teaching the Bulls how to win, they gave them a more valluable lesson: you don´t have to win at all costs, and playing dirty doesn´t guarantee you championship rings. The 1990´s Bulls were more of a crossover between Bird´s intensive and will to win Celtics and Magic´s Showtime Lakers. Had MJ played those two years he missed playing Baseball and two additional years when everyone thought he had retired, we might be talking about nine or ten rings instead of six, hence this tictocker generation wouldn´t have a single argument on who´s the GOAT.
@NewWorldDreams47
@NewWorldDreams47 Жыл бұрын
@@luisrodriguez-mb7cc just stop lol. They changed the rules for Jordan to win. The Pistons didn't play dirty, they played basketball just like the Lakers Celtics and 76ers. There's a reason Jordan couldn't win in the 80s, the toughest era of basketball. Jordan is the most overrated player ever, and all of his rings were manufactured by the league
@luisrodriguez-mb7cc
@luisrodriguez-mb7cc Жыл бұрын
@@NewWorldDreams47 Another guy with serious mental problems. Listen dweeb and I'm going to say once, I hope after taking your medications you're able to understand: 1. No team won any titles during the 80's without at least two superstars in their prime side by side, the Lakers and the Celtics had three, the Pistons and the Sixers had two, Jordan was by himself, when Pippen came into the league he hadn't reached his full potential . 2. The fact Thomas was excluded from the 1992 dream team pretty much tells the story on how dirty his Pistons played, and it wasn' t just Jordan who wanted nothing to do with him: Malone, Pippen, Bird, none of these were willing to share playing time on the basketball court with him. 3. LBJ has never been able to win a title without at least a second superstar along his side. It' s not an opinion, check it out jerkoff. 4. Jordan won an MVP, best defensive player, highest scorer and dunk contest winner during 1988 with a crappy team except for Pippen playing with him. 5. No other player has been able to dominate a decade by himself like Jordan did during the 1990's except Bill Russell during the 1960's , and even he didn' t have the individual stats Jordan had. 6. Maybe you were swimming in your daddy's balls when Bird didn't want to shake hands with Thomas after an incident with Lambeer during 1986, and probably don't know that Malone elbowed Thomas on his face cutting him open causing him 25 stitches in a regular season game between Detroit and Utah. Why do you suppose he did that? Because Thomas and his teammates were choir buys? So before you start talking trash like Bird and Peyton did back in the day, at least stop taking drugs and get your facts straight.

@@NewWorldDreams47Jordan couldn't win in the 80s because Charles Oakley was his best teammate against loaded dynasties dude. This was truly touching to see Earvin and Isiah share memories and to forgive each other after all those years. They should do Jalen Rose and Chris Webber interview each other and can the beef between the two of them. I bet they could share some good childhood stories growing up in Detroit, playing AAU and college ball together. And I'd like to hear them tell about their NBA careers.

this is what a real friendship should be. i tear up every time I watch this. if some people only had the integrity to simply say, "I'm sorry..." or, had the courage to put their pride aside and say, "it was my fault"---relationships between father and son, mother and daughter and between friends can begin to mend and rebuild. and in the case with magic and Isaiah.....remain in tact. I have so much respect for magic and Isaiah for being bigger than their pride and bigger than the mistakes they made when they were young. salute.

The hardest words to say in today's society: I'm sorry. Pride, macho, machismo, all those obstacles, tend to keep mankind in perpetual wars and petty skirmishes. For some folks, being wrong is all the more reason for them to lie.

I’m only watching this because Just watched Isaiah’s interview on The Pivot podcast and this interview was mentioned and I didn’t waste a single second after watching that interview that I see THIS one because they had the greatest friendship the NB (or any sport that I could think of) have ever seen and I am so happy that they could sit in front of each other and patch things up the way only TRUE FRIENDS can. Yeah Isaiah, I cried with you brother because I felt that. This was really good.
