KC Farms should be on Animal planet every day. So sorry for the baby. Wow looks full perfect. That’s Mother Nature she doesn’t fool around. Always respect her . Always think of the positive it outweighs all the negative.

What is the longest kune gestation period you have noted? Thanks Lane We are at 124 days from breeding day

What a great set up you have for your beautiful pigs and such a caring attitude - a real joy to watch! Sadly, this comes in stark contrast to an ex pat woman I came across in Portugal whose lack of knowledge, common sense, and ability to provide adequate basics for her pigs distresses me no end. I'm vegetarian because of animal weldare issues but I'd eat meat again if it could be raised like this and had a stress free death. Here in Australia we have paddock to plate butchers - the animal is usually killed while eating. I've lived on or near farms most of my life and if I had the chance again (I'm76 now), I'd keep Kunekune pigs and use your system of animal husbandry. Good job and well done!
