Thank you for introducing ZhouShen to your country. In China we called him ‘Treasure Boy’, he is more than a professional singer with an angelic voice, he is a multi talented artist with very good personality. The second part of this song Memory, he sang in Mandarin（Chinese language ‘Putunghua’）,and the lyrics was written by him, translation as below for understanding ：我像一片落叶飘零 I am like a fallen leaf wandering in the air 只有回不去的曾经 Only memory of the lost past is left here 仿佛早晨田間一朶野花 As a wild flower in the morning field 這记忆也在凋零 Soon , this memory will be faded too 請你 I beg you, 一点点向我靠近 Please come to me a little bit closer 那怕一步的距离 No matter it is just a step away 留我在孤單裡 Do not leave me here all alone 只要你願意 All you need is give me one chance 你也會感到我的真心 You will feel my true heart cries 看那晨光已來臨 See , the morning light has arrived Please check out his other performances. ALL OF US HAVE BEEN LIVING UNDER ROCKS!!! Best thing the internet has done, thank you, Jesus! Observation...the algorithm leaves bread crumbs from my favorite reactors and my own curiosity has made this rabbit hole exquisitely sublime. However, when I looked down and saw the date of this video my mind was blown! Both of you belong in the "OG" of reactors. All of you came out from under the rock first. For me, it's almost freakin' two years later! Wtf? Oh yeah, Hua is divine!

The "vintage start" is the chorus of "La Vie en Rose," famous French song made popular by the great Edith Piaf.

Ladies in case you didn't know, his vocal range doesn't sit in tenor range.. His vocal range is what we call, countertenor which is the highest male singing voice which touches ranges from alto to soprano, an opposite of contralto which is the lowest singing voice for females which touches tenor range.. Countertenors have 2 type a natural born countertenor like Zhou Shen and falsettist countertenor which achieve high vocal range using falsetto like Dimash and Marcelito Pomoy.. Both types of countertenor are rare..

Thank you , ladies for reacting to Super Vocal, you found a priceless treasure box 🌹🌹 Sabrina, you should see your face...!! 😊😊 He wrote the Chinese Lyric part by himself and sang with his lower voice for the Chinese part Myself and lots of us ( international fans) had watched the entire SV one 12 episodes 4-5 times, all English Sub done by SV fans. All the artists in that show support and love each other like brothers , they lived in the same hotel for 97 days for the whole production。 The show means to promote Muscial, Opera in China. FYI : Lucky for us, after Studying one year to become a Dentist, Shen Shen followed his heart, switched to study Bel Canto in University ....， he self taught "sort of " Counter Tenor……

The main idea of this show is to mix western opera music and modern music together. Charlie had mixed a few himself so he got invited to this show. So the producers is to teach them western opera.

Besides his insane techniques, he emotes very well.. there is really nothing much to say.. he’s singing almost perfectly. couldn’t ask for Betty Buckley-like crazy resonant climax.

Hi ladies, as the comments below me are saying. The intro is indeed "La Vie en Rose"! Popularised by French singer Edith Piaf. Cats was a Musical written by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Originally sung by Elaine Paige in the role of Grizabella.

Unfortunately, most of the videos are only available on mangotv, and webpages are all in mandarin. But we can help you there with posting the links to the videos when you are ready for season 2 =) Zhou Shen performed one other song in this Super Vocal show, called "Lonely Goatherd". Just an FYI for you ladies, his name is pronounced like Joe not Jow. Thought you'd like to know. You can also call him Shen Shen. :) And he's technically a countertenor. As far as a 3rd season, not yet. They've only started releasing the 2nd season.

Thanks for your reaction! There's a lot of great performances from Super Vocal 1, and the subtitles team has subbed the individual songs for most non-english songs. I would also recommend you two check out "Slowly Growing Fond of You", performed by Wang Xi (whom I know you two also like) and Zheng Yunlong kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qOBnq9pjmK-bnI0.html. A note on Zheng Yunlong, he is a Chinese musical actor and performed a handful of songs from musicals on the show. The harmonies in this duet is really good too!

Please someday react to "Big Fish", the version he sings with Doris Quo is the most beautiful singing in his singing I think, I wanna cry every time l hear this song, and it is his first time uses the Bel Canto on the TV show : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/is9lmcd905O-hJs.html Please more Super Vocal~ And when the fans recommend to Super Vocal, they refer to season one, it is generally considered that although the season two spend more production costs, the performance of the show is not as good as season one. But I am thinking that whether I give the lyric link(I find some in yoiutube!) before or after......in fact the lyric is so beautiful and include the Chinese myth, I think it's hard to translate the meaning. Big Fish refer to a huge fish living in northern sea which can translate a big bird at the Chinese myth, named"鯤", it is says that the "鯤" is about thousands of miles long!

hi ladies.....I'm sorry.....but this singer uses too much the "head voice" (or Falsetto) as it' called in 'opera'......is "chest voice" is realy good and high !....goood...yes...but in my modest opinion.....not "Wow" good.......just good. Love you. Love from Portugal.

He's not a falsetto. His voice did not change after puberty. It's natural.

@Francisco Maia This singer's name is Zhou Shen. He is a NATURAL COUNTERTENOR. Zhou Shen's voice is PHENOMENALLY EXQUISITE, + not "just good"; millions agree with me.

@@maggiechan33 Hi Maggie and Kimberly and Dong, I just expressed my opinion about the singer...you don't have to agree.....and I don't have to agree with you. opinos are what they are.......as long as we say what we think with respect - al good ) I will explain my point of view on this singer - when a man sings like a woman "too much" - for me - it's not cool ! I don't like. Any good singer uses the "head voice" or "falsetto" a few times in a song - (in the high notes) - nothing wrong with that ! but too much, in my modest opinon, makes a man sound like a woman! for me, it's, unpleasent! but I totally respect that you and many others may like it ! @@franciscomenano but it is beautiful. and not everyone can sing like he does, not even a girl. His voice sounds like a girl but has a slight difference which makes it unique. Anyway, everyone has their own opinions, Respect!
