If I see my spouse past 3 years annual check up result shows the LDL is coming down.. we do a moderate workout weekly. Almost having healthy food..no smoking habit.. this year doctor suggested to take medicine… not sure why ? His mom is having high cholesterol.. is this the reason ?

🙏🙏🙏, Dr മോന്റെ message best ആണ്.എത്ര നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞാലും മതിയാവില്ല. എന്റെ cholestrol 2 ണ്ട്‌ ആഴ്ചകൊണ്ടു normal ആയി. ഞാൻ രാവിലെയും വൈകീട്ടും പാലും വെല്ലവും ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു. അത് നിർത്തിയ ഉടനെ തന്നെ Total cholestrol below 180 ആയി. ഞാൻ high risk group യിൽ പെടുന്ന വ്യക്തിയല്ല.

62yr. Female... B. P ippol normal. മൂന്നുവർഷം മുൻപ് 160/94 ആയിട്ട് termisartan 40mg1 year കഴിച്ചു. Normal ayappol 20 mg ആക്കി കുറച്ചു. 5yr ayit rosuvastatin 5 mg കഴിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. 2 year ആയി a/d ആക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. Ippol ബിപിയും normal. Cholesterol Hdl 48 Ldl 70 Diet healthy ആക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. Ini തുടർന്ന് medicines കഴിക്കണോ..

I am taking Atorvastatin. 10 mg daily from 1999. Now it is 180. Diabetes and Bp are controlled. Metformin. 500 twice daily. Metoprolol. 50 mg once daily, telmesartan. 40 mg once daily. Should i continue atorvastatin. Age 60 I feel fatigue always.

Metoprolol will make you impotent. If heart is OK, take some other drug for BP under doctor's advice. I experienced impotency within two months after taking Metoprolol. Strange/panicky, I consulted another doctor, who changed the drug for BP (restore normalcy).
