I'm in love with the fact that you mention It's Raining Again, as I've always felt myself building strength with the "get back up again" part. I'm guessing the chord progression is the major factor in that feeling; the lyrics being secondary. And there's a raising up as well in the ending of this song. It's amazing the impact a few simple chords can have

Judging by the prog/blues-driven sound, it might have been Dominic before leaving Keane. The chord progression is somewhat magical and I do hope they continue to make this kind of music. It's something Steven Wilson would sing.

The lyrics of this song were apparently written inspired by Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina..no wonder this song has a feel that is so different, especially when one compares it to the songs that come out nowadays..
