Kebu - Expressive E Osmose improv: "Night Fly"

Today I had to sell my Osmose due to my financial situation, so I decided to have a first and final jam with it. I happened to have my video equipment already set up for another project, so I just pressed "record" and did six different improvisations. And realized that I definitely have to buy this wonderful instrument back as soon as I can! When I pressed that first note I had no idea what I would play, so this improvisation is full of mistakes and I'm driving it too hard into my mixer, so it is clipping in some places. But it would have taken hours to get this perfected and didn't have the time for it, but I felt it was something special so I wanted to share it with you.
Delay from my mixer (X32 Rack) and additional reverb from a Strymon BigSky unit.

Agree, no musician should have to sell their equipment if they love it. I've been there and done that. If Kebu doesn't do it maybe we set it up for him ❤ what do u think

If you followed on Facebook you'd understand why he doesn't. For one, not comfortable with the concept, and perhaps slightly more important - illegal in Finland without a money collection permit where the intention is to just raise funds without necessarily giving something back.

If you ever come back to Germany for a Tour or Concert I will be there again for Sure. I'm so glad that I was 2 Times in your Shows in Germany. And you gave more as everyone of US Had expected. For so cheap Tickets you Had gave US a Show more as 2hours Long , and after the Concert you came between us fans for taking Pictures and talking friendly about synth Equipment, and at Last you persolized by sign my CDs. Yes, yes, yes!!! And no, no, no, you're selling it!! I so badly want to hear an album of your music full of Osmose inspiration. I think it could take the unique life and freshness of To Jupiter and Back and bring it to a whole new level. Perhaps similar to the progression that Ray Lynch went through.

I never got notification for this. It's amazing how many people think that a successful channel is making a ton of money for artist, when the reality is, people have large expenses due to their chosen field. Thank you for making yourself relatable to the rest of us, who have challenges in life and sometimes need to make sacrifices, things that we may overcome at a later date. It's all about timing. I hope things improve with your finances. Unfortunately, I believe there are tough times for many of us these days. It appears that our Government here in Canada is trying to break us all. High inflation, high interest, and the elimination of the middle class. There is also talks about cutting down jobs. To add insult to injury, free speach in this country has been eliminated. A difficult time for so many people financially. You could have probably pursued many other careers that would have been more secure financially, but then we would have been deprived of so much. I sincerely hope this is the last instrument you need to sell and that you can get yourself onto a more secure footing soon so you can concentrate on bringing continued enjoyment to so many (at least 271,000 from your subscriber account!).

💚🧡🙏👍 After that performance, an other world is born for after touching, I wonder if it is relevant to use it on old midi capable synthesizers, adding this hand made universe. I know this is hard to learn to play this keyboard, but what an amazing result! Very creative. That's also what's made our SH 2000 and Juno 6 so different in touch, with powerfully after touching. Wonder how this is accurate with assignable capabilities in soundscapes like Tangerine dreams long touch variations, encouraging to revisit old sounding machine as their sounding was unique, giving them by fact a second childhood.
