People keep comparing Kebu with Jarre and Vangelis. I understand - his music sounds very much like theirs, but while they were pioneers and always testing out the newest technology, Kebu is going back and refining the art of analogue electronic music making. He doesn't get respect for mastering the newest technology, he gets it for honouring and the old technology, which is about to get lost in a world always hungry for more and more digital artificial intelligence. He is perfectioning what Jarre and Vangelis began. He is using instruments from a time where the human was working together with the electronic music.

Music is a language. With sufficient exposure and training, many of us learn to understand it at some point, and fewer of us learn to parrot phrases of it, but learning how to speak it is something few do, and not even all that often. The last half of this piece is Kebu showing us where he is in that evolution.

Bravo! Bravissimo! Only at the age of 55 I discovered Kebu and in my opinion he very competently uses synthesizers and keyboard organs. And most importantly, he has a melody in his compositions and does not have those unpleasant ear stamps of computer music (without names).Kebu welcome to New York!

I think you should listen to Jarre more. I like Kebu's music, but Jarre's is a class apart. It is way more 'polished' and sounds way less repetitive (that's his 'magic', creating repetitive parts that don't sound repetitive. He compared 't to the waves on a beach. Look at it and it is kind of repetitive, but make a video of it and play it on repeat you immediately notice that). And Kebu's sound has a kind of 'sharp edge' on it. I can listen to Jarre's music all day, Kebu's not.

Esta canción me ayudó a contar un momento muy emotivo y triste de una historia que dibujo y escribo actualmente. Cada vez que la escucho, no puedo evitar transportarme a ese momento con mis personajes y se me comprime el corazón de la emoción. Eso logra esta pieza, Kebu.
