Keefe D came through for yet another VladTV interview, and he started off speaking about parts of his early life that he didn’t cover in his previous interview, including having six brothers and six sisters. Speaking more about his younger years, Keefe D detailed becoming a South Side Compton Crip when he was in middle school, and he also spoke about being childhood friends with Suge Knight. During the discussion, Keefe D spoke about his nephew Orlando Anderson and his aspirations to become a rapper and watching the formation of Death Row Records. Keefe also spoke about a shooting incident involving Snoop Dogg and 2Pac, and he also addressed claims that Reggie Wright made about him. Moving along, Keefe spoke about seeing things at a Hollywood party with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett, 2Pac, MC Lyte, and Queen Latifah that didn’t sit right with him. The conversation also detailed Keefe D speaking about Orlando being beat up at the MGM, the 2Pac shooting, and comparisons to King Von and 2Pac’s deaths. (Crips and Bloods have long been mortal enemies and warring factions.) The Crips say Zip worked out a deal with Puff for the gang to guard Bad Boy whenever they traveled West. The shot-caller of the gang has intimated that the arrangement commenced in Anaheim following a 1995 Jodeci concert. Bad Boy partied with the Crips in Vegas, the gang says, after Mike Tyson’s 1995 prizefight with Peter McNeeley. Members of the gang attended West Coast recording sessions and, according to the Crips, Zip brought Big into Compton that year to check out South Park. An argument erupted in March 1996 backstage at the Soul Train Awards. Crip gang members drew guns to defend Big and Bad Boy against Pac and his Death Row Blood bodyguards. A fierce standoff ensued, but no shots were fired. My oldest son was born an hour after they announced Pac died....I remember us watching it before I had to start pushing. I was so heartbroken....grew up on him & love him ...he wasn't perfect but he was a poetic genius....I'd rather take him as he was than 80% of these fools we got out here calling themselves influencers ...they so lost & ain't got a clue...nobody has ever made me feel the way he did when listening to his music....& on the big screen he was so powerful....that man was a force....We always gotta lose the most impactful artists way too soon.
