I love these broad heads I have used them for 3 seasons now and have yet to not have a pass through. I shot a buck at 42 yds hitting him not through one shoulder blade but both and stuck in the tree behind him. He ran for 30 yds and piled up. Will Not shoot anything else

Been using ramcats since they first came out. Couldn't ask for a better broadhead that shoots like field point

Will these work on a crossbow moving 370 feet per second with the originals? I know you guys have put out a bolt kit ,with the ramcat Broadhead, but I can't figure out anywhere online the grain weight on the bolt or anything else on it, or who the bolts are made by? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks again!

Yes they will! I know this is late but they are amazing. My crossbow shoots 410 fps and no problem what so ever. Dropped a nice buck this year and went clean through. Don't expect to use the broadheas again though because you might lose a blade

When you say "tuning" did you not use 100gr field points to tune your bow prior to shooting these? Did you use the same arrows you train with to hunt with as well? I'm currently shooting/training with Victory sports .006 350's my bow is set to 70lbs and i'm shooting very good groups at 20 yards. If i switch out my 100gr field points would i need to re-tune my bow for these broad heads?

Good question. Still use 100gr field points but you should always shoot your broadheads before taking them in the field, at least one of them. Broadheads may fly slightly different than field points and require small adjustments in your left, right, up, down. The hope is always that nothing will need to be changed.

@@keeferbrothers have been looking at these, but I thought part of the way they promote them is that "they fly just like field points" which would indicate no tuning. I currently run Wasp drones and I have never adjusted. They kill great and are razor sharp, just the small cutting diameter doesn't leave much for a blood trail.

I shoot field tips and take them off and put the ramcat's on and absolutely no difference if anything they are a little bit better but I've shot them for 3 seasons and never had one to not fly exactly like a field tips I love them

“Tuning” a fixed blade usually refers to spin test. If the insert isnt perfectly centered it will wobble. Be surprised how much this happens. Also want to line up the blades with the fletching…achieved with a rubber ring

Chris, do have any hunts using the ramcats? Just subscribed tonight and the video that popped up that I watched you was using a mechanical. I don't know which one it was but I know it wasn't the cage ripper or savage. Not that I don't like watching your videos cause theres not ramcats in em but I do like seeing those ramcat kills.

Was it an old video? Been shooting the Cage Ripper, shot a buck with it over the weekend. The rest of the guys are really liking the Savage at the moment, still testing to be done. Thanks for the question. -Chris
