I must be terrible at rinseless washing. I've only done it twice, admittedly because I have the hose and water available, etc., but the time it took me from the start to finish was still an hour on a 4 door sedan. That includes filling buckets of water, getting everything out, putting it all away. But that's almost the same amount of time it takes me to do a full pressure wash with foam cannon and two buckets. I'm the typical type thats scared of scratching with rinselss since everyone, including this video, has the disclaimer of using full water rinse and soap if its available..

Good thing you guys came out with the gallon sizes. Just got my rinse less today and tried it out and really love it. With your gallon size the price per OZ is actually viable and I can replace ONR and is comparable to the other competitors. The price of the 16 bottle is a bit steep but yeah the gallon will work out well and even actually cheaper than some others.

I’ve actually been using rinseless around the house and it’s awesome! I have a glass top stove and dark granite everywhere and it seems like every kitchen cleaner/degreaser always leave a film I can see and it drives me crazy on those dark glossy surfaces. Rinseless leaves them perfect! No streaking or film left behind, it’s amazing. Only downside is it doesn’t disinfect but that’s ok for final clean and being a car cleaner, I wouldn’t expect it to. Great stuff!

Quick question, after you clean the wheels with the towels, do you put them in a separate load when washing is it ok to soak them in an apc then wash with all the other drying towels? FYI when you were talking about delaminating the headliner, back when I worked for Audi for 15+ years, we always had customers that had detail shops spray the headliners to clean them and they would start to sag after a few years.

Rinseless has been saving me a lot of time with the techniques that you teach. What is the safe way to use rinseless to remove caked on grit (primarily in the side skirts from rainy days) does not come off from presoak + no pressure glide with the sponge. Do I just spray extra rinseless and then use pressure with the sponge to spot remove?

Half the wash time is picking webs off the sponge and worry about scratching with the little leaves and crap stuck in the webs. I spray with rinseless first and it helps but I’ve resorted to a second bucket and a stack of small towels just for the webs, then I have to clean those separate from the rest to make sure they’re free of debris. "Shiny leather is dirty leather." - Yvan Lacroix How do you decide on color coding? I struggle with this. Like with a beading spray, you'll see detailers using orange. But I just use the drying towel I'm using. For interior, I was using yellow towels. I have too many towels. I bought all these before I knew the concept of a drying towel. Also, how do you fix a dust scratch? I was cleaning my dash with a microfiber sponge but it was dry. I thought maybe it's better to get the dust off first, but I guess not. 1. How long can I keep a premixed solution of Rinseless wash in a spray bottle until it's bad? 2. How about a premixed solution inside a spray/keg? Say I had extra and only used 2 gallons, can I save it for my next wash for next week
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial 5 ай бұрын
Short term it will be fine, long term it may start to have an odour unless you use distilled water. For leftovers from a wash, a week or 2

Dilution to get the Rinseless Wash to foam?
@mattmccauley5561
@mattmccauley5561 Жыл бұрын
I think it's 4-5 ounces in foam cannon, the rest warm water.
@mattmccauley5561

With that it's not economical to foam the rinseless. Get incredible suds if you want foam.

That’s if you want crazy foam. Try two ounces in the foam cannon and see how you like it:)

256/1, same as exterior.

The rinseless always leaves a film for me.. am I doing something wrong in the process? Even if i just wipe down the interior, those film spots are noticeable on the shinier plastics :(
@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial 7 ай бұрын
Hi there, are you using our Rinseless? If so, are you being vigilant about dilution ratio? If you add too much Rinseless Wash, it can get streaky....so really try to be at 256:1 if possible.

I’m using up last of my 0 en Arr 🏴‍☠️ but before i got another rinseless wanted to see what I’m doing wrong and if other brands are similar w this leftover film.. I think my ratio is good, one cap full for a gallon. So was thinking my process was flawed somehow 🫠

@diydetailofficial
@diydetailofficial Жыл бұрын
Nick here…you don’t need as much as we say on the bottle (I think we wrote 4-5 ounces) try 1-2 ounces in your ik foamer or foam cannon. If you want more foam simply add an ounce and assess from there

Just did my first rinseless wash with DIY rinseless. We have had so much rain here in Connecticut, the car stayed super clean. This morning while on the interstate, a truck went by me and the windshield was a mess right away. So, pulled car into the garage, used Ivan's formula exactly, did a pre-spray with my Marolex sprayer, went over the filthy areas on the lower front from the truck and did the rinseless. Car came out perfect. Amazing product guys and the scent was very nice. The mess on the front reminded me of an old Detroit Diesel 8V-71N !!! Complements on the body brush also. Worked perfectly. Thanks again
