Beloved, I don't know you in person but God knows you. Thank you! My husband and I have already filed for divorce. We both still love each other his drinking was every night and his anger started to get worse. We are able to talk because our state picked up a situation we went through and he is not allowed to drink and has to be on probation. I love my husband. I know he was brought up in church just like I was. Yes he is a good person. But you can’t get into heaven just being a good person. I pray that God will show me and him what the right decision is for us. I love being around him sober. It’s what I wanted all along. The judge did that. Not me. Could there be a chance. If it’s Gods will! We are on the outskirts of stl mo and I would love to come see you guys if you were close. I’ve enjoyed listening to the preaching. Thank you again, April

I cleaved to my husband and yearned for relationship in our newly formed family but he didn't want that because unbeknowns to me he was autistic , on his best behaviour until we were married, he needed a carer and someone who would tolerate his tantrums and abuse, and me coming from an abusive ( Christian) home I was entirely "brainwashed" to simply obey others and was unaware of myself as a person not like you Kathe or Greg. I realise that is almost impossible for those not in a similar position to get their head around but it is what it is.

The problem is I never really had any preferences for dinner, and I didn't care what my possible future ex-wife wanted for dinner. I was down for nearly anything.

God always wants reconciliation in a marriage between two. It is written, but yes I would talk to a pastor and pray deeply on this. I don't know your situation, but if God is calling you to remarry your spouse (it is written that is his will) then you will both be blessed and grateful for obeying such. God bless you
