I just prayed for you, Malachi. My husband has behavioral problems that are genetic. They are not learned, as he was adopted before he was even born, and we didn't meet his biological family until we were in our early 30s. I found out from my husband's biological mother that these problems are the reason she didn't stay with his father and the reason she gave my husband up for adoption. My husband and I have been together for over 30 years. We have two sons whose childhoods we're wrecked because of their dad. Our family life has been decades of compulsive lying, theft, homelessness, multiple acts of adultery that led to a venereal infection for me, and physical violence. Now, even our 12-year-old grandson wants nothing to do with him. I finally became so worn out, feeling I had gone ridiculously above and beyond and given all that I could, that I cried my heart out to my Daddy in heaven, asking if it was finally time to leave. I was pacing as I was crying and praying, when the Lord suddenly gave me a vision of my husband as a new creation. It's been nearly a year since that happened. The Father has removed the last two women having sex with my husband and arranged for me to temporarily live with my younger son, 20 minutes away from my husband, who is currently sleeping in his truck. Every day, I speak life into my marriage and thank the Lord for what He is working in my husband. I keep in daily contact with him and try to spend some face-to-face time with him once or twice a week, sometimes overnight in a hotel room. Though progress seems slow, it doesn't really matter what it looks like; Christians walk by faith, not by sight. The Lord lit the start of my path with tea lights that made it impossible for me to doubt my direction. I remember them on days that are difficult, days when the enemy starts asking me did God really say? I don't know how long this process is going to take, but God never lies, and He never fails. Hold the line, Malachi. Even if no one else supports you in your decision to fight for your marriage, do not give up. Do not ring that bell. DO NOT tap out. May our Father in heaven bless you with clarity of direction, encouragement, and the strength to hold on while He's bringing you and your wife through this valley of darkness. Amen.

Stewart keep praying and believing. I was separated from my husband for 3 years. He told me I’m never coming back . I don’t love you. It’s been 1 year since he is back and God continues to amaze me. It’s been 1 month he is going to church with me. I saw him worship God and I’m amazed. He says I love you every chance he gets. This is God. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy. There is nothing that our God can’t do!!!

My husband has been very much that way with me for over 30 years. I FINALLY wised up and truly handed it all over to the Lord and got out of His way. It's been one heck of an ugly, rough ride, but as soon as I completely surrendered and quit trying to fix him on my own (unsuccessfully for three decades), our marriage is turning around; my husband is SLOWLY on his way to becoming a new creation. Also, the Lord is showing me things about myself that needed to be corrected and cleaned up so that I will be worthy of the husband he's going to give me. Waiting for my husband to surrender to Jesus and become that new creation is a long and difficult exercise in patience and faith, but watching the changes in both of us unfold is incredible!

The Bible says for a woman to be submissive to her husband and some men thrive on that information forgetting that THEY were told to love their wife like Christ loves the church. Sadly women take the submissive part and take unnecessary abuse from men who push the “Im the head of the household, I am man, I am the leader…” etc. Ladies please don’t give up on yourselves, God made each and every one of you for a purpose. Not to be someone’s emotional or physical punching bags, and yes just because he doesn’t “hit” doesn’t mean words don’t hurt. Lean on Christ, listen to what God says about you! Don’t rely on your husband to fulfill your needs because I guarantee you’ll be disappointed. I can’t tell you what to do, I can only say ask God and the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus to guide you. Prayers for you all my sisters ❤️ You are beautifully and wonderfully made!

ABSOLUTELY!! The Lord loves to work with what seems impossible. He quite enjoys showing off, and oh, the glory it brings Him!
