Remove ROPS, find some scrap steel, buy the absolute cheapest 12 inch automotive fan on Amazon and add two U- bolts from Menards and Bam...... You have a cheap and easy way to get some relief from the heat this summer.
After a few hours of operation I found a few things that need changed. First the location, should have been lower towards the head and further forward as to better direct the fans air flow. Second a larger fan could have also been used. I did find that while tilling in dry conditions the fan kept the dust off of my body and the dust cloud pushed back behind the tractor. Also the amount of bugs that usually attacked me while doing slow loader work in such places as the woods was greatly diminished.
So before the fan had a screen over the top to protect the blades a few low hanging limbs did find their way into the fan and it did chop the leafs up nicely, I don't think it could handle sticks but the occasional leaf should be fine.
