Endless garbage matches and multi man matches. They suck so bad. The first time you see it, it’s cool and different. After you see 4 or 5 and you know the tricks, what’s the point in watching? You can call every thing that will happen before they even ring the bell. Instant skips for me.

what makes AEW so weird to me that you can flat out tell just by watching Dynamite which wrestlers are in Tony Khan's ear. You have to know that people like Chris Jericho, The Bucks, Mone & MJF can straight up tell Tony Khan what to do but they somehow convince Tony Khan that he's the boss.

AEW is all about the matches khan doesn't care about a storyline. just a excuse for a match. every thing they do is just to create a excuse for the guys in it to have a match. Any storyline they try to do is either bad or it's a halfassed angle just to get to the match. Even punk vs mjf was just a bunch of 4th wall breaking shoot talk leading into a match. it was just the best thing on a shit show so people overrated it.

Put jungle Jack off and the little buckaroos next to Cokey Khan himself and they all just look like a group of fantasy booking wrestling nerds who’ve never been in a fight in their life. They are the opposite of intimidating to the point where it’s pathetic and I actually laugh out loud when I see them doing anything m, especially die laughing when they are trying to aft scary and tough. That’s just one of many huge problems ALL Petite Wrestling has. Boney Tony believing he’s a combo of Bischoff, McMahon, and Paul Heyman is another big one. Him actually saying that fantasy booking on message boards and writing fake shows as a kid “gave him a good feel for what real booking is like” 😂. He also said writing for 3 people gave him experience to know weather the fans liked what he was writing for certain fantasy matches and helped him learn if his characters were “getting over” or not”. He actually said that stuff. Smh. Hey Tony, what fans?! What characters?! What experience?! It’s one of the hands down most delusional things I’ve ever heard someone say or any subject.

In my opinion, the fans are the biggest problem AEW has. Their attitude turns off the casual wrestling fans from even giving the product a chance. I've criticized WWE and other promotions, but I've NEVER had one of their fans threaten to hack me or beat me up if we saw each other on the streets over my critique of storylines or how a wrestler is being used.

I love how they all rallied around TK after he compared WWE to Harvey Weinstein yet they remained silent on the allegations against Chris Jericho, the former ROH talent that abused his wife, and Don Callis' termination from TNA over sexual harassment.

Khan wanted to be an alternative, and it worked when Vinny Mac was ripping up scripts and putting on the same type of show. But now with Triple H and Shawn Michaels running WWE And NXT, they are incorporating different types of wrestling for the varying pallets of fans, and that is putting TK in a position to pivot to garner attention rather than stick with the original plan. Also, it doesnt help signing former WWE talent that relies solely on the WWE creative to get over, and it doesnt quite translate that way in AEW where they are given the freedom to create, something they are not used to doing imo.

Look at the media scrum was CM punk for example a boss cuts him off and says now's not the time for this we here to focus on the pay-per-view. I've been saying this since the quarantine days of AEW. EVery match had a run-in at the end, Orange Cassidy was damn near invincible in TK's eyes, that fucking barbed wire shit debacle, and uninteresting/non-sensical booking. Khan is and will continue to be a problem.

Why haven't we seen Starks, Wardlow, or Hobbs? Even if Hobbs is hurt do something with him. Daniel Garcia is getting the big man push, that Hobbs, B Cage, and or the big Texan that Jake was coming out with. I think it's stupid to have Swerve a potential top star in AEW facing Osprey already. One of them will lose and that doesn't help either one of them. I would love to see Briscoe and Juice as tag partners. The wrestling, and the promo they could give.

The problem with AEW is that Tony Khan only considers the opinions of die-hard wrestling nerds as valid. If you're booking to get stars from Meltzer and Cage Match ratings, then you're excluding everyone except the message board trolls. The Meltzer/Alvarez argument about dvr-ing overruns was the perfect crystallisation of their problem. Enthusiasts will go to those lengths to ensure they will catch the end of the show, casuals and new watchers will go "oh, that sucks" and move on to something else. Congratulations, you've lost a viewer purely by making it too hard to access your product.

Sorry - Brian Cage has never really been over. He’s got a great physic and moves very well for having so much muscle…but he doesn’t sound confident to me on the mic and seems to not really believe in what he says or mannerisms. Until he fixes those issues - I don’t think he can get much higher on the card.

I went to an AEW show for the first time and I didn't wanna believe the attendance rumours now it was collision but still the way they pack the place is facts and sadly it was A LOT of empty seats and it was Norfolk VA it was still a good show but very sad to see the online stuff is true I'm going to see them again in August to an actual DYNAMITE maybe it'll be a bigger crowd it's in the same building

Boring storylines and poor booking hurts them a lot. But they also seem incapable of building, promoting, or marketing stars. Nobody feels special outside mjf and they’re slowly killing him. There’s nothing or nobody you HAVE to tune in and see what’s going on week to week. You can basically skip 90 percent of their tv and not miss anything important and just watch the pay per views.

TK needs to think of Meltzer and many of the critics online the way you look at Rotten Tomatoes for movies. Just because Rotten Tomatoes gave a movie a great review, doesn’t mean fans are automatically gonna watch it and enjoy it. The opinion of a critic, is just an opinion. The only opinion that should matter, is the opinion of the fans, they are the ones who assist you in paying the bills.

I just listened to an interview from a couple years ago with someone that isnt in the company anymore, i believe. However, they mentioned interest in a match with Ospreay. He said he doesnt want it to be a cold match, though. Arent ALL matches in AEW cold matches? They dont build up jack. Except that awful Devil storyline that went on forever.

AEW has their hardcore fans. A lot of the people who are not enjoying the product ( me included), and are speaking out. We wanted and still want them to succeed. Unfortunately Tony will not listen to anyone including people who work for him. I used to feel bad for the TK billionaire, but he doesn't care about putting out an entertaining product. Swerve, Okada, MJF, and Osprey should be in a feud with 4 other wrestlers. Swerve and Starks, Okada and Miro, or Brian Cage, MJF and Wardlow, Osprey and Brian Danielson,, actually that should be building for Danielson's last match. Start a love triangle with Jungle Boy, Anna Jay, and another man or woman. Christian and Edge vs Bucks, FTR, and others to prove who is the best. I think if TK was a self made billionaire he would approach his company differently. I am fantasy mark booker Charles 😅.

I don’t really see AEW having that many problems. I quit watching wrestling about 14 years ago because of how cheesy it got and how bad and cheesy wwe was getting with the PG era after growing up watching WCW/WWF I just couldn’t anymore. After seeing what TNA was doing, WWE seemed boring. Then hogan came 🤢AEW got me back into wrestling in 2019. I still can’t manage to watch raw or smackdown bc every time I watch it, it is extremely cheesy and overproduced and not really directed to someone my age. So I know a lot of the wrestling media and former wrestlers aren’t a fan of how AEW is but the reality is I wouldn’t watch any major wrestling promotions if it weren’t for AEW so I do love it as it is. Idk if it’ll blow up as much as it was when punk joined but I still love the promotion and truly wouldn’t watch wrestling if it weren’t for AEW. (Minor shot but punk is not a good worker whatsoever now and his matches outside of mjf in aew were meh.)

Aew has all the talent it needs it has all the money but unless Tony Kahn steps up and actually writes good television and tell all the ratings killers to hit the bricks then nothings gonna change

The problem is and always has been the booking. Tony has the talent on his roster. He had a chance with Wardlow, Mark Briscoe, and Eddie Kingston. He had a shot with The Acclaimed. Guys like Will Hobbs and even Nick Comoroto would be easy to get over. Just hire someone to talk for them and smash them over. It's not rocket science. Daniel Garcia's real life story is enough to get him over as a babyface, especially if you booked him right. Nic Nemeth could get over if they had spent some time on him. I could even buy into a character like Orange Cassidy if Tony had given him a backstory and a reason for existing. The booking is killing AEW. Tony claims to be a superfan, be he doesn't seem to understand booking at all.

the refusal to push guys like Wardlow or Hobbs is just strange. If WWE had Wardlow back when he debuted with AEW, he would be a top guy in the industry right now

Brian Cage sucks in the ring but if he or Wardlow were in WWE,they would’ve been Vince’s wet dream. If you’re Cage and in the shape he’s in yet guys like Orange Cassidy get pushed,id be INFURIATED.

A million times yes. Running a company is hard. Doing creative on a live weekly wrestling show is hard. People really have convinced themselves that Vince only won by having New York and predatory business practices. You can’t build and sustain the industry standard in any field that by just starting ahead and bullying people. Vince won because he was better than his competition. Tony is losing because he’s not good at this. End of story.

Hell yeah Tony Khan is AEW's biggest problem. Yes, he's their biggest asset because he's the banker, but his horrible booking and burial of all of his wrestlers is hurting the promotion badly.
