Came away from this interview with a real negative view of TK. His constant redirecting and outright hostility towards basic questions posed was extremely unprofessional. Most of these question were teed up for Tony to clear up criticism & common complaints, he instead took offense.

First thing, TK said he needs to focus on doing good AEW shows and not what the competition is doing. No shit, that should have been your goal from day 1. Secondly, he said historically we have done great numbers. Historically?? Your company is 5 years old, there is no historically. A new company started out hot bc people were tuning in to check it out so of course numbers would be high. The first couple of years people are going to come and go and you will eventually find your place. Right now the ratings reflect the product. TK can play with his numbers, data, stats and try to spin them anyway he wants but the truth is AEW is not in the same league as WWE when it comes to ratings or the type of money they deserve for a tv deal. There is nothing wrong with that. Stop comparing yourself to them and stop pretending there is some huge war between the two companies or that AEW is some big threat to the WWE. Focus on making your product and company better. Stop worrying about what the other guys are doing. The WWE is like the UFC and AEW is Bellator. Again, nothing wrong with that. Bellator always has solid fighters and a decent product at times but always seems to find a way to take one step forward and two steps backwards time and time again just like AEW does.
