The narrative I've seen from fans recently is the PPVs are selling out and that's success. They can't sustain 1 payday a month when they have 8 big arenas to pay rent on that aren't even a quarter full now. Konnan talked about it, but a lot of these guys in AEW absolutely infuriate me. There are thousands of wrestlers all over the world that would kill for this opportunity. They are going to their day jobs, then going to the gym, and then wrestling at night. These guys are making 6 and 7 figures, only work two days a week, have access to the best facilities available, and they won't even pick up a fucking weight. They don't appreciate this opportunity at all. It is disrespectful to every guy and girl all over the world that are busting their ass every night while hoping and praying that they may get a chance one day. When I see guys like Eddie Kingston, Chuck Taylor, Adam Cole, Moxley, and Okada, it just makes me want to put my fist through the screen.
