I spent 2 years during Covid camphosting at Ichetucknee Springs Campground. Beautiful!

Great tip on the check for nails and stuff. I was getting ready to leave camp a few weeks ago and realized that one of our trailer tires was as flat as (insert your choice of expletive here). Changed the tire and then inspected and sure enough a nice big screw right through the middle of the tread. Thought back and realized that shortly before arriving at camp I pulled into a fuel station as it looked convenient for a fill even with trailer in tow, only to discover once in the lot that it was permanently closed. ie kind of an abandoned parking lot. Three guesses where I picked up the screw, and the first two don't count. :) Ironic too, as I thought of just that as I was leaving that lot. Thankfully no blowout, and it just must have slowly lost air over our three days at that camp spot. Not much I could have done about it, other than notice it was abandoned before I pulled in I guess. But your tip is good to beware of anywhere that may provide such little tidbits of fun.... As always safe travels.

That trip north, then out west should be epic! Taking the SS Badger across Lake Michigan is going to be a super cool experience. When you’re north of Chicago, if you want to get Trish on the back of a tandem, and ride together, we could make that happen. It’s amazing riding with the better half and being together the whole time.

Ronnie, you are such a phenomenal person for what you do with the Airstreams. I wished that I had a fourth of a brain compared to yours. Great job on what you do.

I took my kids and their friends to Itchetucknee every summer. SO much fun. You must visit the Santa Fe River! So many Florida springs feed the Santa Fe. It is wider and sincerely a treat. I make my family take me on my birthday every April❤

Our son lives on the Santa Fe River between Ginnie Springs and itchitucknee, so we are very familiar with this area. It is very cool and mostly undiscovered as Florida places go. We love to visit there.

another great camp is Silver Springs in Ocala FL. The Silver River is awesome. There are hiking trails and several miles of clear water to paddle... I live within 5 miles of the park and go at least twice a week.

At the head of the spring Is the “Blue Jughole” when I was 15 I went on a scuba diving trip there and we floated the river in scuba gear, under water, it was amazing. Thanks for the video., it was so great seeing Caleb, I have missed his wit!

Hey Mark, As a precaution when unhooking from the truck overnight. Disconnect the chains too. that way, if you happen to forget in the a.m., you won't drag the camper on the chains. Ask me how I know!!!

Hello Marc and Trish! We are Kim and Steve Manchester from Chelsea, Michigan and we have loved your channel for years now! We have had our '22 27FB Airstream Flying Cloud since the end of '21 and we haul her with our white Ford F250. Over the past 2 years we have had multiple people stop to see if we are you guys😂. Right now, Steve is 3 weeks into a 3,880 mile cross-country cycling adventure that began in DC and will end on the central coast of Oregon on July 21. He's with 11 other cyclists and two coordinators from Adventure Cycling Association. I'll fly out to rendezvous with him in Fort Collins, Colorado on 6/16, and they will dip their tires into the Pacific in Oregon on 7/21. Seventy five days total, 10 Zero days, 65 ride days averaging 65 miles per day. Steve's had this dream since he was a 14 year old kid, and after 41 years we're finally making his dream a reality. We see you guys are traveling through western Colorado and the coastline of Oregon this season. If your travels coordinate with Steve's journey, he'd love to give you a wave and a "Hello" as you pass on by. Also, Caleb and Marc (and you, Trish) might be interested in riding the DALMAC in Michigan one day. It's a 4 or 5 day tour from Lansing to Mackinaw with several options including century rides. It takes in some of the most picturesque parts of the state during the days leading up to Labor Day. Steve and Thomas (our 24 year old son) won't ride it this year because of Steve's EPIC trip cross country, but it's normally an annual ride for them. Let us know if you ever have any interest and we'd be happy to help facilitate. Blessings to you on this upcoming season! We'll enjoy following your adventures on this Summer to Remember! p.s. I (Kim) just had a rendezvous with Steve south of Indianapolis and I managed to do all of the hitching, set up, take down, hauling, dumping, and...drum roll... backing our rig up our curvy, inclining driveway to park her in a narrow spot next to the horse trailer... all solo for the first time! @Keep Your Daydream if you cam get your hands on a #10 can or a couple of large cans. Peek the labels off then stomp on them. You can put them on the grill. The metal with an air gap in etween will help moderate the heat on a hot grill. It also works on a stove when using gas and a really thin pot. It's basically a heat diffuser.

Ichetucknee is one of our favorite places! We love the Ichetucknee Springs Campground-they have farm animals, including a pig that comes and visits the campsites ❤ I think we must have passed y’all when we were heading north!

My favorite thing growing up in FL was canoeing at the springs

While going through Nebraska head to the Heart of the Sandhills , Valentine, Ne. It’s the town where everyone has a big heart. Also take a different river ride down the Niobrara river. Also you can set up camp at a many places along the river. Praying for fun, relaxing, and safe travels.

As soon as I saw the big house in the pecan grove, I knew where you were! Then I saw the cracker barrel that looked familiar and then the map showed westover rd., I knew y'all were in Albany. My home town. I have not lived there for a while, but do try to show up on occasion. Ray Charles, Ray Stevens, Radium Springs. Jimmy Carter and his home in Plains close by, etc.

You guys are hilarious. I live in St Aug. There is so much wildlife along and in the water. I had a big fat FL water snake from an overhanging tree dropping into my kayak on one trip! I have the 17" Blackstone and really like it. I retired last Friday and have to get the house and Airstream ready!
