Oh the memories of military moves! I always heard about the nightmare of stuff being broken and even stolen!!!!! 😱 So we always moved ourselves !!!!! Lol It was a lot of work for sure , but I remained in control. I knew a family whose whole household was delivered to a whole other state! They waited weeks for their stuff and then may things were broken! 😳I am so sorry this happened to you!! Your new home is very nice! I can’t wait to see how cozy you make it !!!! If I lived there, I would put dining table in your office area and the living room where you were going to put your table. Close to the back yard which would make a community area. Your present living room I'd put my office there.

Is the moving company going to make restitution for all the damage to your furniture?

Awful the way they treated your furniture. The military should put the fear of God in them. But maybe they are doing it so cheap the military doesn't care. If so I apologize for your loss and am embarrassed by the way they treated your treasures. Thank you for your husband and your families service to our country. Just makes me sad.
