I'd go KEF since I haven't listened to the PerListens but I know I LOVE the KEFs.

I got the KEF Reference 3 (non meta). I demo'd the Reference 3 metas vs the Perlisten S7T, I'd have to say I agree with this video. I really like the guys at Perlisten and wish them the best, but I couldn't justify the cost to switch and I think the KEFs sounded a bit more punchy. Both great speakers though

Arlas whats the difference between the reference 3 and reference 3 meta? Did you notice much?

@@obitouchiha6980 I haven't made a good comparison between the two, sometime this summer I hope to drag my KEF Reference 3's to the store to compare them to the Metas. All I do know for sure is that I won't upgrade though, IMO if you don't have reference speakers yet I'd say buy used Reference speakers unless if you have the budget for the Metas. KEF raised the prices a bit. Based on the listening that I did do though, they sounded comperable based on my audio memory but from what I understand Human's audio memory is for shit. They both have that KEF imaging though. From what I saw explained about the Metas is that extra material was placed behind the driver to capture a ton of different frequencies to prevent the sound from porting out back or resonating within the cabinet.

I can get a demo model reference 1 for $5000. Not sure meta is worth the difference.

Make sure you listen to both. The Meta is definitely different. I like it more.

The perlistens is an annoying speaker to listen to. The sounds of the tweeter sits on top and in front of the rest of the sound and it’s stupid. It’s a party trick
