I think the mini tap is going to be a game changer. I like the idea of the 8L but they need to change the shape of it so it can fit in a cooler with ice better for beer on the go.

Hopefully we can get our hands on the 4 liter size soon. Will be perfect for taking on the go.

Just aquired one with the flow control disconnect and spring (kit).....but it deosn't turn off with spring fitted. Do I need to keep a low serving pressure for the return spring to work? (I thought I could keep a carbonating pressure with using flow control?)

Hi, it should turn off with the spring regardless of serving pressure. Maybe try taking the spring out and putting it back in?

@@graintoglass Turns off manully, just not auto with spring...dissasembled and even turned the spring around. May try a spacer to increase spring pressure

Would love to see more videos with the oxebar kegs. Just got myself a set with the 4L version but am yet to try it. I would be particularly interested in best practises and HOW TO force carbonate in them. I have never done any type of kegging before so hence the slightly "dumb" request

As far as force carbonating we will do 10-12psi if we're not in a hurry. The beer will take roughly 2 weeks to carbonate depending on the temperature of your fridge. The method we use most often is burst carbonation where we set the regulator to around 30psi and let the keg sit for 24-36 hours. We then drop it to 10 psi for serving. Your beer will be pretty close to being carbonated at this point without risking over carbonation. Cheers!

@@graintoglass Thanks! By "sit" do u mean at regular fridge temps or room temp? And do you "shake" at all if you do it the fast way?

@@matheosmattsson2811 Liquids will only carbonate quickly if they are cold so always keep it in the fridge. You can shake it to carbonate faster but you risk over carbonating the beer this way. Cheers

I have the self closing spring with it and found it didn’t work well. Doesn’t self close. The rest of the tap is decent though. A little small ergonomically but expected for the size.

I didn't think to try the auto closing spring. You found that the spring does not have enough force to actually auto-close the faucet

Yes, me too. Very dissapointed in the self closing spring, May return it as it was very expensive.
