I think that'd make the episode worse and undermine Keisuke's actual need of others for help. That said, neither Keisuke or Takumi ever lose, so I wouldn't put it past them to put that handicap on Keisuke, 'cus no matter the presented odds, they always win, and Initial D's battles lose a lot of tension and story weight because of that.

Think if I rember right the damage was so severe it bent the frame slightly so there were more worried about getting the car fixed enought chassis wise than cosmetic wise

@@takerhay2197 it wasn't the frame, it was the suspension. on that specific wheel, the suspension got bent out of shape from the imact and they didn't have the means to fix it in time for the race.

The bumper wasn't the only thing damanged. Some of the front left suspension (alignment) was also damaged in the process when his car skidded into the wall after running over some oil if I recall correctly.

It's was the car's frame it's must be bent the unibody car's never drive the same way.

The frame took a hit and the suspension got fucked up. Race shocks tend to be very fragile (because they're so stiff and short) so an impact that may minorly damage a normal car can screw up a built race car.

@@newttrz unfortunately, i try not to smack my car off guard rails too often, decreases the resell price, but i play sims, and sure it adds a degree of difficulty, but i can easily do 10 laps with broken suspension in an endurance race only 3.00+ on my fastest time
