You can use Dual Miking with the Torpedo VB-101. But with the Torpedo Live combined with the PI-101 WOS plug-in, you can add up to 100 simultaneous cab sims.

At 1:48 in the display says Power Amp On, does this product also simulates power amp? Could I use my Rocktron Voodu Valve on this product and use it live to the sound system of the room? Bugeras are pretty awesome! I have a 333XL Infinium and this thing sounds amazing. It DOES get sliiiightly muddy at louder levels, but maybe it's just the bad standard bugera cab. I highly recommend it though. only 600 bucks. That's an amazing deal for an amp.

Is this set up putting it to amp without using cab speakers? Does this not damage the amp not having cabs plugged in to amp, I have a laney iron heart 120w tube amp stack but can't get optimal mic recording level due to neighbours, How does this work out set up wise for recording in built up area

the 6262 Infinium is also a really good amp. I haven't tried it myself but I can't imagine it's too different from the 333XL. I haven't actually tried it through a different cab but my friend has a hughes and kettner 4x12 amp with v30's in it, I'll see if he lets me try it out through that.

The Torpedo really respect the sound of amps ! I use it with a Diezel Einstein and it keeps the grain of this amp !! Did you have use the Torpedo capture ? This song will be produced ?

Yes. I thought of doing something like this. but a 100watt amp generates a lot of heat and uses a lot of power and i felt it was overkill for using with headphones so i decided to just get a preamp instead.

From what I can tell this is essentially Pod Farm or the Axe-fx minus everything but the cab sims? You could take any signal into the box and create a virtual cab?

hey Keith, have you tried using an Axe-Fx amp sims in front of a Torpedo? I always feel like I have to do too much tweaking to Axe-Fx amps and cabs to get the exact sound I like (e.g. seems like a hack to adjust amp presence to compensate for a dark cab model instead of just moving the mic closer to the speaker center)....the torpedo seems way more straightforward to how things are done IRL, but don't know if it's worth it...

When looking at the new Mesa CabClone demo, I found a video showing big differences in tone wether you only connect the Clone directly to your interface, or if you also have the load of your speaker (Clone only vs Clone + Speaker). There is a huge tone difference. Does the same problem occur with the Two Notes Torpedo? Because, that kinda nullifies the idea of having the CabClone if you need to have your speaker connected anyway...

There are plenty of devices that you can use for that purpose. However, this device is designed to allow you to plug your favorite amp into it, select a cabinet emulation, and run that directly into a recording interface.

In the manual and for studio setup. it says you need to connect the S/Pdif output to the audio interface. Do you need to use this output to get the digital simulated sound? I dont have SPdif input in my interface and dont want to buy a new one if it not essential.

No, you can just use the regular line out on the back of the Torpedo Live, straight into your audio interface, I've never used the S/Pdif on mine, and everything works/sounds great :)

ok i have a kemper and axe fx 2 and a two notes and for me the two notes is killing the axe fx and possibly the kemper aswell! However the user forum is poor and a very small community lets the product down, i cant even find how to find on search for user presets etc on the site
