Anyone else here March 2024

I sang this song to my mother who was losing her battle with brain cancer. I sang it to her on her deathbed. When the song was over and the singing had stopped, she inhaled, exhaled and was still holding my hand when she flat line and passed from this world. She held my hand all the way through the song and only let go after her last breath had long gone. The brain cancer caused her to have multiple seizures each minute. But while I was singing to her, she had none. Thank you to the community for letting me post. And thank you Mr Urban for the song that allowed my mama to transition from this world to the next. This is one of my grandmother's favorite songs. She passed away today. She said if I didn't play this at her funeral she weren't coming. ❤ I love her so much.i hope she's in a better place. Rest in peace my beautiful mawamw❤❤

By now the Alzheimer’s had created such a fog in his head. Same as my dear mom was. He so incredibly and graciously brought him on stage. Gave him a guitar and let him play whatever he wanted. Still the master with a few broken spots that Keith so majestically covered. I’ll always hold Keith in highest of respect. For his incredible singing and playing? Sure. But for his incredible grace.

The summer this song came out, life was different. I was 23. Working at a contact lens warehouse as a shipper. Across from me was another shipper named Annie. She was like a mom to everyone. Her smile and infectious laugh would always bring happiness to people. 🥰❤️ I could talk to her and she comforted me a lot. I was going through a very abusive relationship at that time. Annie and I stayed friends over the years even after I left that job. She passed away in summer 2021 from cancer. Annie, you're Missed so much.💔but I'm so glad you're not in pain anymore. I hope to see you later. RIP Annie 💓💓

This song really is a beautiful song. As a surviving woman of domestic violence listening to it is soothing. They really don't know what ALL the aspects of abuse does to one. It is true it is just best to walk away and not look back. We deserve to be happy and loved and not allow them to steal our thunder. ❤

About 4-5 years ago I was stuck in an abusive relationship that I didn't realize how much life it sucked out of me. This song came on on the highway, the words hit me so hard, and gave me strength to leave. The relationship ended in that month. The phase " he is stealing your thunder" hit me to my core.

Talent beyond measure. This tune is catchy soothing, and perfectly performed. It is not an easy tune to do as I tried it and saw how quickly the words fit into the tune. I played it for a motor coach tour and many of the passengers had eyes closed resting.
