Nova Scotia is Canada's ocean playground, but did you know there is an abundace of fresh water paddling options as well? Join me and some friends as we explore Kejimkujik National Park and Historic Site, savouring the water, the sun, good food, music, and wildlife!
We took our time and deeply connected with the landscape on this trip by being very intentional about our pace - slow, curious, relaxed, this was a great canoe trip to be on. I hope you enjoy coming along vicariously with this video!
What do you think of squirrel view? I think that's my favourite part!

Thanks Mark! I really enjoyed reliving this experience during the edit. I wish we had managed to make a video together before I moved. But Nova Scotia feels like a second home so I do hope to visit a lot! Hope you are doing well and have some adventures planned for the snow you're getting tonight!

Thank you! That's my goal! My set up is now a Canon 80d with the kit 18-55 lense with a Rode VideoMicro for sound. Also I used a Zoom H1 to record sounds.

Beautiful park, great video! Lots of bugs? Get a gig bag...or at least a garbage bag(?) for that guitar. I wouldn't want to have to report you to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Guitars!

Hahaha! That guitar and I made a deal in the store - it wasn't going to get a case and it might get banged about and scratched up a bit, but it will get to come to the coolest places with me. This being said - I think I'll be sewing up a waterproof sleeve for Ron in the near future. I do keep a black garbage bag on reserve for really nasty weather in the meantime. I don't recall bugs being bad on that trip! I think black flies were petering out by then.
