Today we START A NEW PATH ONLY CHALLENGE WELCOME TO HARMONY ONLY. In this episode we try out very best to get the new Harmony unit Robin and give her good relics, light cones, etc... Will we be able to succeed on our new Challenge series in Honkai Star Rail??

Build Yukong as a dps. She’s pretty good. Her buffs aren’t based off of her own stats.

@@Am4t3r4su Robin really only wants atk and dmg buffs. ER from Tingyun helps and in some cases spd might be useful (she gets next to nothing from going over 120 spd).

Let me correct you on one thing. The best Harmony damage dealer is the Hamony MC up untill now.

Given that this challenge is gonna be full of harmony characters, there will be no character to apply weakness types on targets so in a way robin is still gonna be dealing more damage than hmc in average.

yukong will be a close contender with single target toughness break damage. She can buff herself or an ally. So if you use skill then ultimate. It can do some nasty damage. More than some 5 stars.

I mean robin is a DPS somewhat depending on how you view it.. yea she buffs everyone but she also provides pretty legit damage to all as well

He will have to do some early relic farming. SU grinding, max traces (as far as level allows) all while not raising his equilibrium to high to stand a chance against Aventurine. Speaking from experience he is the hardest fight for a harmony only account in the game by a large margin. Asta is the only harmony with AOE available prior to the fight and he'll never have enough damage to get around having to survive at least two rounds of dice in phase two.

I started this same 'challenge' back just before Sparkle's banner. It has some rough areas for sure. I'd really recommend not going past equilibrium 4 until we get a few more Harmony units with either damage or AOE. At that EQL you can get most of the important major traces and farm 5* relics (albeit slowly) without the enemy levels getting to out of hand. You will need to farm relics early (you'll need leveled relics). For Planer sets, worlds 3 and 4 are my suggestions (not to rough to farm and all sets are useful) but you will want to push to world 5 asap to unlock abundance path in SU. Since every character on the account will buff your damage in some way (atk%, Cdmg% and dmg% being most common) C.rate, SPD and defensive stats will be the things to look for. Asta and Tingyun are particularly fragile. For 'roles', Asta is the closest thing you'll get to an Erudition character and will be your best source of damage early game (unless you get Robin but even then you struggle with ER early game). Asta does have low multipliers but fire is a common weakness early on and she is a solid breaker. If you pick up Hanya she is the closest thing to a hunt unit that harmony has. Her skill has a decent single target multiplier and it is pretty easy to get her up above 180 spd with her ult cast on herself. Physical is also pretty common weakness early game. Lastly, be prepared to suffer immensely with Aventurine. The AOE check makes that fight a nightmare since only Asta (and Yukong with her ult up) can hit more than one of the dice. It was by far the hardest fight for me. I hope any of this is helpful and best of luck with the account. As a side note I heard rumors of a possible Ruan Mei rerun in 2.3 or 2.4 which would be huge.

@@alyannasalgado1034 Defensive food buffs, The Wuthering Snow relic set and Ruan Mei (extra break delay) are the closest things Harmony has to sustain. Until you get most of the harmony characters I'd recommend everyone on your team have at least one (if not two) HP or Def% main stat relic (leveled).

@@yukii5633 Hanya for the first half built defensively (her skill can break all but one enemy in the floor in one shot). Ideally with two others (at least a three unit team) to help spread out the enemy damage. For the second side, Asta and whoever you have left (I had Bronya). The Turbulence for floor 1 is going to be your source of damage so HP/Def Main stat relics for everyone (Wuthering snow helps). It is rather hard to manage it if you don't have at least five characters. Alternatively, you can outscale the floor by leveling but that could lead to story fights being ridiculously difficult. I wouldn't ascend past Equilibrium 4 until you gotten past Aventurine. Maybe if you have Ruan Mei it might be alright. You can reach about 70% of a character's total stat potential (with a lot of relic grinding) while keeping bosses fairly low level. You miss out on your unit's last passive traces but that is worth the trade off. Aventurine is by far the hardest boss in the game for Harmony only. Sunday is a joke in comparison (thanks to HMC).

First days are critical in these challenges. Getting Tingyun and Hanya is big, even if you don't manage to get Robin (but ofc as starting account you will have access to a lot of jades).

My guess is that, once he gets most of the existing harmony characters, he'll use HMC, Ruan Mei, Robin, then either Bronya or Tingyun. Ruan Mei and HMC obv have great synergy, just have to wait for her rerun, Robin's available rn so he's definitely gonna pull for her and if he gets her then the action advance can be huge for getting in more turns before HMC super break runs out + she can deal damage. Tingyun could be used for energy regen, while Bronya can be used to, just like Robin, get extra attacks in during super break. Can't wait to see how this goes and what new harmony characters will eventually be released!

I started my personal harmony only account right before Ruan Mei banner. I would say - Hanya is probably one of the best dps for this type of ac. Ruan Mei is also very important, without her SU is almost impossible. Wish you best of luck on this account to get as many Hanya and Robin as possible ❤

As someone who. Made a beginner warp decides the path only challenge I'm going to do, which ended up being Harmony since Bronya won't stop haunting me. Let's just say, that challenge caused me more mental harm than anything. Also me being stupid, decided that the punishment I would do it I use non harmony characters, outside of farming and character trails, would be a Tingyun only SU solo run where I randomly let a wheel chose if I have to do SU (on the highest difficulty my trailblaze level would let me), Swarm or GaG. Including the path resonance I can use (destruction or rememberance). I have 9+ solo Tingyun runs waiting for me once I get free time 😢
