Just tried my new peep sight this past weekend. It is a must to have !! What a difference. Great product.

I really really like this rear sight. The only thing I'd suggest is offering a tall front sight post.

Great sights. Installed the notch version. Only modification I made was I filed down the top of the sight so that it is more like a pistol sight picture. The front and the rear sights making a straight line. Used some aluminum black. Love the sights!

Just my experience. When you install this rear sight, You won't be able to adjust your front sight high enough to zero it at 50 yards. Your front sight will run out of threads. It would be awesome if you guys made an upgraded front sight. I had to reinstall my factory rear sight to fix the problem..

I shot it at about 40 yards(.22 cal).I used a single shot .22/410 over n under CZ Scout. I used the peep sight n targeted the heart lung area. He went down...

Went to the range using the factory sights. Jamming my face against the tube, it pushes your eye and ear protection to get a sight picture. I think I`ll be getting these.

Thanks for the video. My M2000's front site was hitting the stock and I, watching this video, noticed the gap on the right side facing down range. A quick reinstall of the screw with fresh Loctite has the folding action dialed in and is less loose too.

I see a lot of people complaining about the sights being to low and then here I go telling them to get the Lever Actuated Folding Rear Sights. Some people would rather complain.

I have been using this sight for many weeks now and I'm extremely satisfied. Will be awesome if you guys can work on a fiber optic front sight for this gun.

Love how it's the same size as the front sights ears are at the shooters pov. Only problem was I was almost out of adjustment on the front for height, found a taller front post and now all is good.

How about a front folding sight? Kind of like the RLP one, except made by the best...MCARBO! still keep the capability to fold and lock the Sub, but the ability to fold down and front and rear sight, with the new MCARBO red dot mount, will give the shooter a clear line of sight between the red dot and the target. Would kind of be like BUIS for the Sub.

I'm a bit late to the Sub2K club, just picked up mine a month ago, a second hand Gen2 which already had a number of M*Carbo upgrades installed, including the post sight but it wasn't auto-deploying. Your video was simple to follow (all of your videos are) so now that I removed and reinstalled the sight as directed, and I think the lube was a big part of the success on this mission, all is well. I have purchased a number of additional upgrade parts since acquiring the rifle and installed most of them in minutes. Great stuff, all of it.

Excellent video. I have put off installing my new mcarbo sight for couple months and have no idea why. The video made it cake and did a great job explaining to novices the differences as well as installation. Thanks. Now I don’t have confidence in installing some of the more in-depth pieces but anyone can do the sight with ease.

The factory rear sight is plain awful. It forces you to smash your face really far down and/or at a weird angle just to be able to see the front sight through the tiny aperture. This upgraded sight by MCARBO solves the problem by being both a bit taller and having a larger aperture. I just installed it and I'm happy with the improvement.

Is there a reason why my sight doesn’t pop back up to 12 o’clock when I unfold my sub2000?

Why does MCarbo, and most others making peep sights who obviously don't know better, always get the direction of the sight eyehole counter sink wrong? The countersink SHOULD NOT be towards the eye! The opening facing the eye should be a sharp clearly defined aperture, not a counter sink. The countering is there in a peep sight to keep sunlight from reflecting off the sight and into the eye. Use the MCarbo sight as it is currently made and shoot with the sun either behind you or to either side and behind you. The sun will reflect off the counter sink and directly into the eye. Turn the sight around so the countersink is facing the muzzle and try it again. No sun will be bounced back into the eye to distort the image through the sight. I ordered the $69 MCarbo sight and was deeply displeased to find the countersink on the wrong side of the sight. Please fix this!

Did I miss the part where he said he was going to show how to adjust it to open when deployed? Is it just the fact that you tighten really well? I just want to make sure it is done correctly. Please post any tips so I can do this right. I have been collecting weapons for 20 years, and shooting for 54 years. I usually don't work on my guns because most of the time they are something beyond most peoples expertise. I have a great gun smith CAR Arms. This was easy to install, but will not deploy when openeded. I may just do a reinstall. That may be the best 1st step to try and remedy this.

I bought my SUB 2000 for $320 with the rebate....shame this little piece of $0.25 metal is going to add $70 + tax and shipping. Why can't Kel Tec address their sights? I can't get a perfect sight alignment without tilting my head 45 degrees. I'll be selling this rifle and will be getting the new Smith & Wesson folding rifle.

Hey there, cool video. I have a sub-2000 as well and when the stock is extended, the front sights hit the edge of the butt when I fold the carbine. I think you mentioned that you fixed that problem, how did you do it?

What is so difficult for the FACTORY to just manufacture it with the PROPER height sight ???

I was thinking about getting one of these. But all the comments about the site not deploying when unfolding, the front site not being about to be raised enough to match, etc. have made me pause. No official response from mcarbo? Was it just a bad batch???

I love my Sub 2000 in .40 cal. But my sights are plastic. Why do other Sub 2000 owners have iron sights. The aluminum one seems like a good idea. I may drill mine out a little.

New sight is much better but im having problems with the sight popping back up after I unfold the gun.

In the meantime until i can fit you new sight into my budget again could i just mill out the stock rear sight with a bit to widen the sight picture a bit....would this adversely affect anything besides possibly breaking it completely?

I purchased an M-Series Sub 2000 from you guys, and my rear sight DOES NOT deploy automatically and there is misalignment when folding the gun. I need to guide the front sight assembly into the buttstock a little when folding it up. The hinge screw seems very tight with no gaps. What's the deal with that, and how can I remedy this? I though these thing would be squared away being installed at the factory...

I’ve been trying for a year to get the sight to deploy correctly. What am I doing wrong? I’ve tightened hard and backed off 1/8” at a time and can’t find this sweet spot. 😟

Taller than stock?

Sight wont deploy when opening. seems to be tighter when closed and wont grab on the top when its being unfolded. Iv tried every combination of loosing and tightening still tighter on the closed side even when completely loose. Any fix for this? The sight is awesome but lacks the wings like the OE sight.

Couldn't one just drill out the original peep hole a bit larger?

Worst customer service I have experienced they ignored 3 emails for sending their wrong size Allen key.

How can I get a replacement rear sight?

These guy have the worst customer service. I have sent 3 emails, and not one response. I purchased the takedown pin for my LCP & LCP Max. The pic still walks out after one magazine. These scammers have not answered one email. Avoid them. I have seen other posts addressing the same problem, but no response otherthan the compter generated one that says they will get back to you. At the range my wife was fireing her LCP 2 and she looks at me and says the pin is coming out. I told her to put the gun down after she cleared it until I could look at it. The pin had walked halfway out. These guys have no idea what they are doing.

Never understood why they put that cheap plastic crap there in the first place. Charge and extra $50 and put a better peep on it.
