🇲🇾🚆 Ekspres Rakyat Timuran is a popular overnight service between JB Sentral and Tumpat along the KTM East Coast Line or Jungle Railway, and is Malaysia's last regular overnight sleeper train. While I would usually take the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran 27dn on the full route down to JB Sentral, this time, I decided to stop at Kluang to have a breakfast break at Kluang RailCoffee before continuing my journey.

🇲🇾🚆🇸🇬 KTM Shuttle Tebrau 83dn is the daily 3.15pm train from JB Sentral to Woodlands CIQ, offering a connection from Ekspres Selatan 43dn. While it's not the fastest transfer, I still took Shuttle Tebrau 83dn anyway, so that I can properly say that I took the train from Bangkok to Singapore.

i just went down to segamat for cheng beng by taking both the ets and the southern express from kl sentral. the gemas scene where the ets gold train and southern express also took place around 2:50pm after the ets arrival all the way from Butterworth. this was where I interchanged to the southern express for my 35-minute journey all the way to segamat. you should record the interior of the new segamat railway station as it features colourful glass panels for the kaleidoscope vibe while passing through. FYI, ktm will extend its ets train service from gemas to segamat starting 1 july, marking a stepping stone for the edtp operations in johor.

We hope KTMB and MoT should build Wakaf Bharu Station with 2 Roof Platforms like this Tumpat Station to modernize this KTMB East Coast Railway for passengers convenience in the future.
