...so I’ve established previously that this show frequently destroys my makeup with all the “highlighted good” that Kelly/guests share...I also read people are irritated when they see the number of “thumbs down” on a particular vid...but today I see only five people are hurting so bad that they can’t see the joy...that makes my day...what Kelly said “kid’s lean in to positive reinforcement..” maybe some adults eventually will too...ty for showing the good...

Foster Grandparents are amazing. In school, I had some amazing foster grandparents. My late grandma herself was one, and my mom has been one as well. They are such an invaluable asset. What an amazing story!

We are slowing starting to learn what many other countries and cultures have know for centuries, our seniors have an invaluable and integral part in our society and need to be honored for their contributions of the past and the future.

Bless them! As a grandma of six, I feel that my grandkids - and all kids - can’t have too many loving, caring adults in their life. And Kelly is right - a child becomes what they are told they are. I had a terrible childhood and it took me a long to start believing in myself. I’m in my mid 60s and still struggle.

My grandmother had multiple ear piercings too. I thought she was so cool because she did it right after I got my second ear piercing and I thought she totally saw how awesome and rebellious it was. It turns out she did it because she sold Avon and saw it as a way to let her wear more of her jewelry, which she apparently made more money on than other things. Respected her even more after finding out she was willing to do body modifications to bring home the bacon.

Everyone is talking like these Grandma's are sweet saints. But they are not!!! They are greedy greedy women!!! As a 46 year old person who never had children there is nothing like a child who runs to you with open arms calling your name and hugging you telling you that they love and miss you. These women get just as much as they give. Even more. These children i'm sure give these women a reason to get up every morning and a reason to move and live and exercise like they never would if they say alone in a lonely apartment. I know it sounds like I"m knocking these women but i'm not. The kids get what they need... unconditional love and support with a slight push to better people ... and these ladies get the joy of a child's love. I can not think of a better win win situation than this! I hope this program spreads and gains traction not only in the US but around the world!
