So many reasons to love Kelly Clarkson

I have a feeling Tracy Chapman is flattered and impressed with this cover. Kelly sang the crap out of it.

This lady can sing ANYTHING. She is amazing. What a talent. More Kelly Clarkson!!! Looking good, girl...and sounding better than ever.

Way to go! WE WANT THAT KELLY! She won American Idol by singing Blues, R&B, Soul, Jazz...That's what she should sing! Now, don't get me wrong! I love her songs, and her pop stuff. BUT SHE WAS MEANT TO SING THAT! Her tone is GOLD and pop stuff just can't explore that. PLEASE DO MORE R&B STUFF KELLY! Few people in the history can reach your level on that area!

Great performance by everyone! Kelly is flawless on the vocal, the Acoustic guitarist was impressive, and the rest of the band made it happen. So, if you don't like the way Kelly looks, wait until you deal with some adversity in your own life before criticizing others. I think she is beautiful and has a heart of gold! There are so many phony balonies in the music business, especially the uber successful. She has class and she can sing!

For one this is a classic song. Tracy will forever be the epitome. I just feel like Kelly walked in here on her way to lunch and said “yes I got y’all” and left. Soul is a genre that not many can acquire. She is one who has mastered it. Timeless artists x Tracy and Kelly in my opinion.

This is just another example of how amazing and timeless this record will always be. Tracy wrote a great song and she sings the hell out of it. The fact that every genre has covered this song from the Blues to Metal is a testament to this classic!

I wrote Kelly Clarkson off as your average pop singer until I heard her singing this song. Very thankful that Tracey Chapman allowed this to take place not that Miss Chapman needed it but this compliments her original

as a old fan of tracy chapman from the fast car days i have always wanted to hear kelly clarkson doing one of her songs and i was very happy with the results, it may not be as good as Tracys version but keep in mind just how long she has been putting out songs, i look forward to hearing kelly do more music like this in the years to come as she grows as a musician.

This was incredible but Tracy wrote and sang give me one reason with conviction and passion. Anytime Tracy sings my heart feels her pain. her raw grittiness.. etc. Tracy is a humanitarian and it shows in her music/voice, and Kelly is just a powerhouse pop singer Kelly doesn’t invoke the same feelings in me as Tracy does, and always has. That being said Kelly really can sing ANYTHING though so I’m definitely not denying that.

Kelly Clarkson is an amazing talent don't really care for this version of the song but she absolutely killed it!! What's disappointing is every video showcasing her splendid voice has some comment on her weight.Why is it so easy to focus on the negative when you're bombarded by her electrify vocals, yet that still isn't enough for some. One of the best voices of our generation!

She is so much more than these ridiculous measurements and judgments the media is making about her body. Now I must live with the knowledge that all the songs I've ever heard and loved could also be performed by Kelly Clarkson and bear the stamp of her unique, expressive, powerful, lush, textured, and beautiful voice. Third, I'm also proud of how you tackle people's comments about your weight with such conviction in your voice, and not letting their small-minded, Hollywood-centric views on what beauty is supposed to look like affect you. Moreover, I think you're an absolutely beautiful human being, no matter what size jeans you're in or what your hairstyle is for the time being (which by the way, I'm digging your hair, girly). Fourth and finally, if you don't like Kelly Clarkson, then leave. No one asked you to stick your two cents in (while you do have the right to an opinion), other people have come here because we actually love to hear her sing.
