The security persons were using their bodies to move her along and it was in my opinion rather aggressive. Kelly already pisses off for being rushed off the carpet and up the stairs, security brushed her back with their hand. You can see Kelly saying “Don’t touch me”’ I said, Don’t touch me

Kelly actual was always the most outspoken member of DC. During press moments, she was often the most articulate and charismatic of the group. Those girls knew how to be classy and poised. I love that she stood up for herself and is that same outspoken person. She is just grown and not taking the disrespect. I love that!

Context: * Overzealous security guard comes out of nowhere to usher Kelly along because she feels she's taking too long. * Overzealous guard steps on Kelly's dress as it blends in with the stairs. * Kelly, with a smile and touch on the shoulder, assures the guard it's okay that she stepped on her dress assuming it was a mistake. * Guard says "Don't put your hands on me" * Kelly takes offense and tells the guards not to touch her.

@@Painting866 yeah yeah, but part of the film festival is the carpet. Which involves celebrities taking their picture for visibility. They didn’t invite Kelly because she’s a well known film critic. They invited her to lend her celebrity presence to the festival. So the expected exchange is, celebrity comes, takes a few pics on the red carpet, and in exchange the festival gets publicity which then trickles down to the films getting publicity, which brings more tourists to Cannes, brings more money for the films, and increases the prestige of the festival. So THEY SHOULD LET HER TAKE HER PICTURES ON THE CARPET. Furthermore, there were several other celebrities BEHIND her on the same carpet that were not rushed as she was, who even got five minutes on the stairs uninterrupted by security. So it was definitely weird.

There are reasons they seek to usher you up the stairs without stopping for pictures. It presents a safety hazard for one thing. But it also causes people at the bottom of the stairs to not start going up the stairs if they see the stair movement stopped ahead of them. This creates a bottleneck traffic jam at the bottom of the stairs. I wonder if they tell attendees not to stop on the stairway? Or just leave it to security to forcibly usher people briskly up the stairway?

I love how ppl are jumping to conclusions that the white woman said something racist to Kelly…when there is literally no audio or ANYTHING to substantiate that claim. In this video, it appears Kelly’s turn was up. Kelly wasn’t wanting to accept that for whateve reason. They had to ask her several times to keep it moving. I don’t know enough of the details to take sides here, but I find it disturbing the hasty judgment being passed on the female security guard. I will also say that I feel bad for Kelly’s PR rep. Kelly keeps making headlines for all the wrong reasons of throwing tantrums whenever she doesn’t get EXACTLY her way and playing the victim. Just food for thought.

If you look at other videos some others are ushered around the same way. If you ve ever done some real work you d know some rich and famous have zero respect for timing of the place they themselves are getting traffic, fame and money from. there is a schedule to meet and we are at war and a massive security worry at present in Europe.
