I have many personal family prince stories, one being : My mother was pregnant with me at his concert so she had to stand at the very back, prince temporarily left stage while his band was doing an instrumental , all of a sudden prince appears between the shoulders of my parents and gave that iconic jokey face saying shhh whilst my family laughs with him quietly Also I own his tambourine with the symbol on it because he threw it into the crowd. I miss that musical genius

What a wonderful legacy Prince has left behind. Im so happy to see nothing but love for our purple brother here in the comments. He might not be with us anymore but heaven sure did gain a treasure and we can enjoy his music all our lives.

Yes, I love all the Prince stories as well. I saw a video compilation of numerous guitarist & (SUPER TALENTED) artists recounting their own experiences of playing or hanging out with him. The joy they felt from those times with him makes you realize he was not just the greatest ARTIST…, but a great human being to cross paths with. I really am not someone easily star-struck, but I know I would have been if I found myself in his presence, let alone had the chance to even overhear him in conversation. He inspired AWE it seems, in every one he met. Knowing he is not and never will “be” anymore, returns me to a state of… melancholy. You know what I mean?

My story is getting in the purple circle@ one of his concerts lol. I even tinted my hair this deep purple. I had the perfect outfit, purple roses on my sheer black scarf, white ruffled blouse and all! Lmao. I will never forget that night ever! ;-)

To me the most insane thing about this clip is the interview with Leslie Jones. I did not even recognize her, the energy she brought to the interview. If that’s her authentic self they absolutely miss wrote her in the shower. She was always appearing as this angry person from what I remember. If she has that kind of personality and the writers never brought it out, wow, what a miss.
